Manager Igor Tudor

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

That's the hilarious reaction of some people.

All of a sudden we should have kept the last manager, or the one before that - totally ignoring that both of the fuckers couldn't win a PL game if it was bought for them. Proper stockholm syndrome stuff
That's not what I was saying.

I'm saying there was no point sacking one bad manager and replacing him with an even worse one who is so painfully out of his depth.

I was all for sacking Frank IF we had a decent plan. Instead we've brought some geezer in who got sacked in his last job for not winning in eight.

You couldn't script it.

We basically risked the mortgage on a new manager bounce.

Just some perspective. Two games, one against the top team in the league, and today, a club confidently playing very decent football that Silva has been managing for years. What did we really think Tudor could do in less than two weeks? Unless he's got a magic wand, he's still got the same useless, inconsistent, injury-prone players who can't pass to each other, can't control the ball, can't block shots, can't shoot - the list goes on.

The only games that really matter are the games against Forest, Wet Spam, and Palace. There's no sense in talking of another change of manager now, that's not going to help and we just need to hope that the players have enough self-pride not to want to be part of the squad that took Spurs down.

Tudor will have learned something today. That RKM is average, Richarlison does care and is capable, Solanke needs a proper role, Xavi can't play wide and Gallagher playing out on the touchline is pointless and no threat to the opposition. Hopefully Tudor will learn from all of that, but, the bookies had Fulham odds-on before a ball was kicked, because the table doesn't lie - so our hope is to farm points off those around us.
We don’t play West Ham again………

Spurs boss Igor Tudor speaking to Sky Sports: "We were not good, lacked everything. Attacking and defending. Fulham were much better. There are problems here, big problems. We need to stay calm, believe in what we are doing in training, and get out, staying all together.

"These are not things to speak outside, we speak in the dressing room. The problems are more complex [than attitude and commitment] second half was better, but the first half was not enough."

On Fulham's first goal: "Of course it's a foul. Incredible mistake."

On thoughts of relegation: "We are just thinking about the next game. We don't need to think about that [relegation] not because it cannot happen, but we must focus on growing mentality as a team, concentration, physically. These are the only goals we must have."

It feels like Tudor has come in and seen a team who is out of shape lacking physicality and stamina. Poorly coached with no attacking threat. Unable to defend as a unit. Low on confidence. Can't win any 60/40s let alone 50/50s. He's seen why and I don't think he can believe it.
