Win Thursday and I think the tide finally turns and we scratch enough points to stay up.

Lose and the negative momentum is a freight train and we go down.

A draw and its razor’s edge stuff.

Pinning hopes on the last 25 minutes yesterday w actual effort seen from Tel, Richy, and Gray. And gotta assume Danso is fit to start - Dragusin has to go.
Richy has to start just for the chaos

And after the first 15 games we were 11th.

Same players, same league. Like I said, form is temporary and class is permanent. The players are better than they've been the last couple of months and have no doubt we will not be relegated.
Class is permanent? - over the last 2 seasons we're the 2nd worst team in the league points wise behind Wolves who are already relegated.
So what class are you counting on, are we safe because of Gazza, Hoddle, Kane etc.? will the class of Blanchflower and Greaves see us through...

I'm willing to say that this is worse than anything under Ange. At least we looked exciting and created chances.
Have you watched the games last season? Still need to figure out what exactly was so much exciting. I admit we had a few games and moments where it all came together, but can't remember a single exciting game in the Premier League in 2025. Maybe Ipswich away. Most of the time we were dull, prime example Tamworth in the FA Cup.

Probably thats what the players are thinking as well. That they are too good to go down. And any chance thats the risk right here. Not the right mentality for the scrap. Its all about mentality now. If you have followed football across the globe for several years you would know that big teams with expansive players have gone down before.

At least take the risk seriously ffs.

[David Ornstein] 🚨 Tottenham Hotspur players face wage cuts if relegated from PL. Most contracts include clauses to lower salary (vast majority by ~50%) in event of going down. Provision placed in all deals under Levy so #THFC have some financial protection @TheAthleticFC

Fuck. I didnt realise Fulham played west ham yet. So obvious what happens with that one after they beat us.

Maybe us going down is exaktly the kind of hard reset that is needed. We'll probably lose most of the players, that we want to get rid of anyway. And the whole fucking management. It might be a kick up Enic's ass too, to sell the club.

One thing we can rely on from him TBF. 50% wage cut is massive would cover alot of the financial hit.

It’s been discussed before . We go down ENIC’s £3-4b asset would be worth £1.5-2b . They’ll not sell
