I would arguably be tempted to rest or not play Romero against Liveroool as well.
That way it's 2 games to avoid 2 yellows, plus we know we are highly likely to lose anyway.

I’d be very tempted to blood some academy youngsters as they’d at least bring some effort.

I think it's a coin toss at best. Romero back and van de vyn off is probably a net gain. Crazy as it sounds I think you have to fire Tudor. Anything to change the atmsophere around this group of players. At this point I would even consider trying to get Postecoglou back. At least they would play for him.
