Just tell them that they're welcome to the overpaid, mercenary parasites that bled our club dry and did nothing to fight for our Premier League status.

Meanwhile, we'll get players who want to play for our club and play in a league with genuine competition instead of a select group of elite teams. We'll actually become a football club again and your workmates and their dreadful turd-infested teams can keep all their Premier League and Champions League shit.

Goodbye and good riddance to Woolwich, Chelsea, United and Liverpool scum.

I like it ! Let’s get down there pronto !

Bring back Postecoglou. It’s the final roll of the dice.

He knows the club. The players know him.

We are going down with Tudor. I firmly believe that.

Bring back the guy who paraded a trophy down the high road and who is an orator and vibes guy.
The players will play for the man. That’s really all that’s important right now.

I can’t see any other viable manager out there.
Redknapp and Sherwood. Absolutely not.

It’s insane it’s come to this.

He’d be better than Tudor

if we were still at WHL and not at the new stadium i'd agree but going down with the stadium fees owed and rumoured £300mil of unpaid transfer fees left to pay if we don't come straight back up and rejoin those top 6 clubs we could be heading for meltdown.

Despite the obvious jokes, Spurs are BIG SPENDERS, with BIG REVENUES. If Spurs drop to the Championship total revenue would be forecast to drop by 200m.

The Championship financial rules allow a club to report a loss of 45m (over a 3 year period). Spurs reported a loss of 30m in 23/24 season and are forecast for a loss of 30-35m in 24/25.

So, SPURS are losing money in the Premier League. If they drop to the championship, that loss becomes 200-250m per season based on current spending. The Championship allows 40m loss over 3 years (14 per season).

Getting relegated would financially ruin the club. They cannot reduce costs by 200+ million per year.

And now....here's the kicker

if ENIC sell shares and inject the proceeds as equity, that money can be used to cover losses under FFP / PSR.

I suspect this is a well thought our plan to force the sale of LEVY'S Shares in ENIC to the Lewis Family at a reduced price. Were they preparing for the championship all along?

- invest in young players with low wages
- lower fans expectations
- get rid of the loved players and coaches, fans less resistant to a tear down

They didn’t really play for Ange either did they. They won the Europa league for themselves.

I’ve no idea. I wasn’t in the dressing room.

But that shared experience of winning a major trophy and then the scenes on the high road counts for something.

Those bonds formed in those moments are for life.
He can walk back in and instantly connect. And that’s what we need right now.

Plus is there one man on this planet who has more reason to kick Forest into the championship???

We would cut costs by £100m (player wages lowering eg Biss, Muani, Paulina, Romero, VDV, Porro, Vic+ leaving) and generate about £150M of fees by selling them, poss more. That’s without the potential 50% reduction in wages in remaining player contracts of £100m. Timing wouldn’t be straightforward but manageable with some cash flow injection.

I don’t think relegation is planned as you suggest, but I do think it’s manageable

Wonder how many Spurs games will be on Sky Sports next season if we're in the Champo?
None on TNT or Amazon

They're all having a whale of a time until they lose viewers.

There’s no club ratio of games in the Championship unlike the Prem

Tv companies buy a core package , opening fixtures , derby’s , festive games then the rest are chosen 6-8 weeks in advance.

I think we’d be on a lot plus on IPTV you could watch all games

The wage bill currently sits at 130 million. Even if it is halved, it doesn't make a dent in the 200m+ shortfall.

Selling players would generate some money, but it is going to be very difficult to deal with player sales whist a world cup is on-going. Very rare that clubs would pay big money for a player until they are sure they finish the comp without injury. Not to mention, that Spurs would need to invest in players suitable to play Championship football.

Professional pride (and their agents/entourage) would forbid a lot of this squad playing in the Championship.

This is going to be a right mess!!!

I was in a meeting at work today and some of the guys were talking about us going down and how they are praying for it to happen, they were saying shit like the whole country wants it to happen and they were so incredibly smug about it, I genuinely felt like shit and wanted to fight them :D

Can you imagine the reaction if we did actually go down, I cant think of anything worse, forget Woolwich winning the quad if it happens...the entire Summer would be horrendous, we'd be on every news cycle, socal media, mainstream, podcasts...all these rival fans taking first dibs on our players and predicting doomsday scenarios etc...I genuinely wouldn't be able to have a genuine convo with my mates about football without being reminded abiut our plight, fuck me.

Sadly doesn’t look like our players are up for the fight.

Turned down by Sean Dyche. That probably tells you everything. He’s seen what we’ve all seen- a squad with no fight or professional pride. As soon as things get difficult they stop listening. We’ve watched them ignore or disrespect the manager several times this season.

Edit: just an entitled group of cunts. I’ve supported Spurs a long time and this is the first team I’ve genuinely hated. I hate how angry they make me.

It’s utterly mad that we are in this position but all the chickens are coming home to roost. I’d question anyone’s sanity who wants it really. The cat is out the bag in the industry it seems about this group of players and what it’s like at the club.

I just don’t know what we can or will do now. Those making the decisions will only make the wrong one though. It’s the only thing I can guarantee.
