All of the mental gymnastics around fixture lists in pointless until we see a single sign that these bunch of cunts can be competitive in this league.

Because right now there is not a single game that Spurs should be winning on paper based on form.

I expect a comprehensive defeat tomorrow followed by Tudor's sacking.

We then have a final roll of the dice against Forest. If there is no new manager bounce by then the jig is up.

I think we lose tomorrow. Not exactly Nostradamus considering our history up there even when we were good. I think we lose by 4. But i think that will be our rock bottom. We will get a new manager in. Results will change and we will stay up. I’m just praying rock bottom doesn’t have a basement though.

Thanks mate. We ain't down yet and we won't, but you see that's an opinion no more or less valid than your own.

West Ham drawing today should hardly create any additional ripples of concern, and given that many posters had us in the bottom 3 by today we are still just above the water line.

I agree ; whilst things may not look promising ; there are still 8 games to go after Sunday .

A lot can , and will , happen before the season’s played out .

We shouldn’t just throw in the towel , just yet .

Just saying.

Maybe jus maybe we are playing 4D chess , the goons winning the league should be the biggest thing of the season however when we get relegated we will steal the limelight , no one will care about who won the league as the real miracle is we got relegated!!!! :pochohshit:

I think this time tomorrow we are gonna be in full panic mode
This place will be. In truth no one ever saw a point vs Liverpool and the Forest result is the only thing in question.

There are a fistful of games left, Tudor is going to be replaced after Liverpool, and after Forest there’s a long break.

Although a win in our 6 pointer against the tragic trees would do much for our chances, our fate will be decided by the form we emerge from the international break in.

The defeatist attitude of many really is pissing me off. They need to man the fuck up. We might go down but we may not. 9 games left. Anything can happen. Some people are as weak as our players.

It’s well within this West Ham team’s reach to put together a few wins late into the season, against teams that’ll be on the beach by then.

Leeds, despite losing some momentum recently, also have enough winnable games to reach the 40 mark.

I mean, they’d only need to win 3 of the following:

Palace (A)
Brentford
Wolves
Bournemouth (A)
Burnley
Tottenham (A)
Brighton
West Ham (A)

Seems very doable to me.

It’s between us and Forest I think.
I think you might be right. While Forest are competitive in every game , they aren't scoring, even when dominating ( wolves at home ).
They seem to draw or lose by the odd goal.
If that carries on then they won't be getting that many wins or points.
The problem is , they might not need many.

I'm with you even if I do accept it's difficult as hell right now

I think the attitude of many is a result of what we as fans are witnessing.

Not an easy time but no giving up. A long long way to go.

I personally don't see us going down. But the media has us as favourites to go down and it would be an amazing story for them. Yes the team is shit. But we’ve also had a lot of bad luck. It has to change. Tomorrow is the nadir imo. We get through that, get a few players back and a new manager and I see us scraping through.

I tend to see it similarly. Much as we have been really poor, we have also had some real misfortune. It has to change.

It's mostly a deflection strategy; insisting the worst outcome will happen to try and protect oneself from the bitter feeling of disappointment should it happen. It's understandable.

Having said that there's a few select season ticket holders on here who are openly declaring they will not attend another game when the team and Club need support the most. These people are vile scum and should the worst actually happen, hopefully they will fuck off forever.

If you don't get stuck in when things are at their bleakest then you are no supporter at all.
