I didn't go today for the first time and we drew . Perhaps it's me that's poxing our luck ! All joking aside I thought we should have been 1-0 up in the first few minutes , and I think that had them worried that we got so close to scoring . I think we should stick with the CB pairing for Wednesday evening as although they lacked pace they managed to hold on when the pressure was applied by the bindippers . I've just had phone-call after phone-call from the lads that went and got dogs abuse for not being there , the constant "I told you's" being the main ribbing . But what a result today - everyone had us down for a good hiding .
I'm now thinking that 4-0 win on Wednesday isn't as out of reach as I originally thought . I'm going so I hope it doesn't backfire . As much as I'm tempted not to go because of today , I'm not going to throw away a £48 ticket just because of a superstitious thought .
Today's result wasn't expected and I now feel the players mental attitude has finally caught up with them and they've realised that If they don't start winning games they could end up being part of a relegated club , making them worth half what their value would be normally .
Onto Wednesday and hopefully a win and a place in CL last 8

Being worth half what they should be would be good for them as more clubs would want to sign them and they’d get a bigger signing on fee.
