I’m terrible at predictions but I have just done a predictor and have us going down. The last minute draw to Brighton and their last minute winner v Everton the difference are the nails in the coffin. I just don’t see us doing better than 2 wins. Beat Villa though and we will be ok. Fucking hell we really are in trouble. Need a miracle now.

Villa game this weekend is massive now and I see the bookmakers have pushed villa out to 11/10 after last nights result. They are obviously factoring in the chance that Villa rotate heavily. We are 9/4 to win the game which is still underdogs but not the big underdogs most would have had us in this game a few weeks ago. We'd have been a 4/1 shot if this game was played 2 weeks ago!
This and the Chelsea game coming 3 days after their cup final has been the first bit of luck we've had since we sacked Frank. Maybe the tide is turning? I've always felt we've just had this toxic wave of momentum going against us since we sacked frank. Losing nearly every game by a single goal where big referee decisions went against us and players kept getting injured. But the late winner last week, followed by the last second kinsky save, followed by the chelsea fixture announcement and then followed up by the villa result last night. It feels like our luck is slowly starting to turn.
We need a result this weekend and its possible now. I said all week that if we match west ham's result this weekend then its a good weekend for us as we've easier fixture next week. The bookmakers now give us a better chance of getting a result this week then west ham. So we have a chance! Hopefully the players take it!

Undoubtedly tomorrow, with Brentford surely wanting to deliver against West Ham and filth the same against Forest on Monday, Emery might see fit to rest key players., especially knowing Forest have a day's less rest before the 2nd leg.
He doesn't owe West Ham or Forest anything and it will arguably be a lost opportunity if Villa don't win the Europa.
Impossible to read Emery, so much might hinge at what he says at his press conference.
Either way we just need to be ready to take advantage.

Son will be remembered as one of the finest players we have ever had who also won us a trophy. Johnson was part of the problem that came with Ange and the Levy lead lowering of standards.

We can't just match Spam's result this weekend, pal...2pts adrift with 3 games to go, one of those being away at Chelsea?! Nah man.
Must pray that Brentford smash the pikeys...they friggin owe us after Frank (and even Brennan)! And we absolutely need to then win at Villa. Chelsea beating Forest would be swell too...that'd mean Forest in P16 on 39pts, us in P17 on 37pts, pikeys in P18 with 36pts.
Need the twats down the road to pick up at least a point at the caravan park next weekend, and if we beat Leeds on MNF, I don't even care if Forest beat the barcodes, we'd be on 40 pts and Spam on 36 or 37 with a shittier GD. Then we go to Chelsea and welcome Everton, while Spam got Geordies away and Leeds at home.
Things go that way til matchday 37 and I'll start believing we might escape. But we got 8 wins out of 34 this season, so 3 wins on the spot, I doubt it.
