So interesting to see what Emery does tomorrow. West Ham haven't put pressure on Forest but he might favour strength over pragmatism.

F uk me it's stressful.
Seeing as Forest have started selling tickets and flight packages for the Europa final already, pretty sure Villa will be pissed off with that. Might be the incentive they need to rest a number of players so they are nice and fresh for 2nd leg.

Fucking love Saturdays when results go your way and your team hasn't played so you have unfounded optimism ahead of sunday's match.

Do it you absolute pricks. Win tomorrow & result against Leeds and we could actually do it

The West Ham result today was brilliant and gives us a chance. I don’t for a second believe we will get anything tomorrow. If we beat Leeds and Everton we will stay up because of the result today. West Ham will lose to Woolwich, maybe get a point and beat Leeds. We will stay up on goal difference

It's a really weird game tomorrow.

What Emery does know is that we aren't cloggers, which lessons the likelihood of injuries to his players.

But straining a muscle or excess tiredness might see him go slightly weaker.

I just think we probably are going to have 2 games, if not 3 to get past West Ham.

Hmmmmm.

Villa have got bigger fish to fry ; we’re on the launch pad Brother nico , t minus 25 hrs hours

Yeah, and he knows Forest can’t afford to rest players against Chelsea. It’ll be a huge advantage at this stage of the season to give Rodgers, Watkins, and a few others a full week’s rest.

Not quite right.

As a result of West Ham’s result, and of course if Villa did beat us, Forest could play a weaker side as they have a buffer.

Far better to go weak against us, thus enabling us or giving us a better chance, somewhat forcing Pereira's hand

It's very nuanced but tomorrow is nearly a nothing game for Villa. Nearly.

I don't agree with the idea that a draw would be a good result.

Relying on other teams to do us a favour will bite us.

Woolwich could quite easily lose at West Ham next week, and Newcastle are now mathematically safe.

Start melia. Youth has no fear!

We should not bother who starts for them tomorrow.

To the contrary, I think it is better for us the starters play from the kickoff. If you have the bench warmers start, they are going to give it 100% and not bother about EL because they will not be involved. If they start the starting 11, their minds will be occupied with the match on Thursday and not go as hard as the replacements.

No matter what, go strong, go hard, make them feel you want it more than them and it is better for them to focus on their higher priorities. Don't look at the team sheet. Same approach no matter who is there.
