The West Ham result today was brilliant and gives us a chance. I don’t for a second believe we will get anything tomorrow. If we beat Leeds and Everton we will stay up because of the result today. West Ham will lose to Woolwich, maybe get a point and beat Leeds. We will stay up on goal difference
Leeds are playing pretty well right now & wont roll over for wham.

Well, it's over to us then!
Only half the weekends' job is done....

It's in OUR hands again....
Shame we've got Jeremy Beadle's hands! 🙄

In our hands we have to win but a draw isnt bad now
Must win. A draw and we stay in P18 a point adrift...fuck that. Do the business at Villa, beat Leeds at the Lane next week while the pikeys draw against the twats down the road...we'd be 3pts clear with a better GD before going to the shitty bridge, where the result is pretty much a given.

It's not a must win. A nice to win.

Let's not start this stupid fcuking narrative and then load the guns to fire bullets at De Zerbi.

Brentford, lower than Villa just beat a team in form (West Ham), because home advantage makes a difference.

A win would be fantastic but it's still less, than more likely because of various, including a crippling injury list.

So . . ......calm.

Our home games are the must wins.

Because Ange is unprofessional and a poor coach. Emery can and will try to be competitive in multiple competitions. Expect a reasonably strong lineup.

Let's not start that circular discussion on here please, but whilst I do agree with you, Villa fans will have eyes and emotion on next Thursday, more than tomorrow, as may the players

Beat THFC and move to 4th, with 3rd being the highest you can reach or be pumped amd ready to potentially bring a European trophy to the club.

Next to no Villa fan moans if they lose tomorrow. Fail to get to the final on Thursday and......

So, it's tricky.

Villa haven’t won a trophy for 30 years. People on here thinking that Emery isn’t gonna throw everything into that semi with only a tiny chance Brentford or Brighton catch them for 5th are mad.

Just hope they rest Tielemans and Rogers. Both their best players and cause us problems. Shame we don’t really have pace in attack to hurt their high line. Under Ange I always thought we could beat them but now we are a bit more attritional it’s easier for them. Game will be won or lost in midfield I suspect.

Is Diego Simeone unprofessional? Because he has been playing kids in La Liga for weeks to focus on the CL?

The EL is not the CL.

Furthermore, La Liga is not the premier league. When you start doing that shit in this league, you will lose almost every week. Atleti are 13 points clear of 5th. They have nothing to be professional for in the league.

Villa still need to win league matches and by the way, with United-Liverpool playing tomorrow especially, they have a solid chance at their highest league finish under Emery.

Between the Bologna quarter final games they played their first choice team. I expect similar tomorrow. They won’t want to go in to a second leg having lost 3 matches on the bounce.
