Tottenham probably need to win three of their last four games to stay up, but although they finally won in 2026 when they beat Wolves last week, I am not sure it has given them any momentum.

It was a huge result for Roberto De Zerbi's side but you have to remember Wolves are woeful and Spurs also made hard work of their victory.

What helps Spurs here is that Aston Villa have their Europa League semi-final against Nottingham Forest to contend with over the next few days.

Even so, I still feel like Villa will be too good.

This defeat will send Spurs one step closer to the drop and a trip to play my old club Lincoln City in the Championship next season.

Sutton's prediction: 2-0
TBF Sutton is a massive cunt who very often gets it wrong. He is a fucking clown

Kinsky
Porro, Danso, Van de Ven, Udogie
Bentancur, Palhinha.
Gallagher
Tel, Kolo Muani, Richarlison

Subs - Austin, Spence, Souza, Dragusin, Gray, Bergvall, Maddison, Bissouma, Sarr

Think I would have replaced one or two of the 4 CM's on bench for another forward - even if less experience such as T Townsend, or Wilson out of u21's.

No need for Sarr who was crap b Sunderland when he came one
You raise a further point of worry.

Every other teams dips into its Youth Squad/Academy when there is a severe injury crisis.
What does that therefore say for the quality of the 25 or so players associated and getting paid by the club that NONE of them can step in for a game against Wolves/Villa at this crucial stage?

The club is rotten whether we get relegated or not...
other clubs are brave enough to give their academy players a chance. Im sure the ones still here one or two couldn’t be worse than Sarr coming on.

Sutton is a prize prick

In a funny way I kinda hate that they have heavily rotated because now I have that voice in my mind saying that we could actually win today... I've seen this story unfold one too many times before though.

Come on Spurs give us a happy bank holiday weekend please please please
