My personal horror scenario is west ham staying up by goal difference which is still possible if we lose heavily vs Chelsea

Spurs vs leeds 1-0
Chelsea vs Spurs 6-0
Spurs vs Everton 0-3

Newcastle vs west ham 0-2
West ham vs leeds 0-0

In that scenario both teams have gd-17 but Spurs stay up because they scored more goals.
But anything worse than that and we go down.

So even if we beat leeds, I will still be nervous until west ham lose vs newcastle.
If they get a point at newcastle it's still not over.
 
Y'all need to chill. This a super easy game now.

We're going to win comfortably. Result not even in question. Only question is how many goals we win by.

Nothing is going to go wrong.

Already pulling my hair out as it is. I felt fine last night, but im getting that dreaded feeling again.

This is what our team does. We never make things straightforward for ourselves

Sorry, but I was surprised noone came up with that one yet.
That Chelsea game is on my mind for a few weeks now.
A win today and west ham lose at newcastle is the only way for me to put that bad dream out of my head.

Last 20 years of watching spurs did this to me.

So blame them if you know what i mean

In De Zerbi we trust. He is giving me good vibes, his attitude has already rubbed off on the players. We still have a tough match on our hands, but De Zerbi will get a big performance out of the boys, I really believe that.
 
Have been feeling Tom Dick since I woke up this morning, and will feel like that all evening.
Why oh why didn't I be like all my other friends and not give a monkey's about football. I used to believe that the joys have outweighed the angst and misery, but not so sure anymore, especially this season.
Ah well, off to the Lane I go.

Just getting ready to leave for the game . As much as I want to stay in the PL , I wouldn't want it to be by 1pt after last nights debacle . So tonight is important to win and win convincingly . I think RDZ has come in and got the players believing and fighting for the cause . I hope we don't get any more injuries , the sick bay is already full . We've got a game to win tonight and I will certainly be the 12th man . So come on everybody get behind the team and Up The Spurs

How do you and other supporters have this much confidence, when you know that if things could wrong, they generally do for us?
Of course I hope you are right, but just seems to invite trouble on being this sure, just jinxing it, if you ask me.

I'm not really - just had wayyy too much sugar and I'm not really a believer in 'jinxing'.

If you are worrying about us shipping 6 goals to a club that has scored only 2 in their last 5 games then there may not be enough points available to make you feel confident :franklol:
