We could stay even if West Ham gets a point

Woolwich lose the league on goal difference. We stay up & West Ham go down on goal difference. Such a pity.

Seeing the celebration police out today for Woolwich's reaction to getting to the final last night makes me think we're gonna be fucked if we DARE celebrate a win on Sunday,AS it's NOT MATHEMATICALLY certain!

Well do you know what, and as much as I hate Woolwich, but I'm pretty sure WE CELEBRATED LIKE CRAZY in Amsterdam (I know the circumstances were different) but it's still one of the best nights of my football supporting life, no question...
I say let them have their moment...

But I'd wager if we win on Sunday (and West Ham have lost the day before) the celebrations will be equally as euphoric... Regardless of what follows, and regardless of what Gary Neville thinks we should or shouldn't be doing!

Sometimes, you just get a feeling...

We win, I'm celebrating, sorry, not sorry!

VAR has already ripped the heart out of goal celebrations.... You're not telling me we can't celebrate anything until the END of the season once everything is assured... Cos you know what... That's what GLORY HUNTING FANS DO....

I fear that's where football is heading.onky celebrate once the Trophy/Win/Survival is assured... Nothing beforehand...

There'd be a LOT of amazing goals that wouodve gone uncelebrated if that were the case!

Okay.

Whatever you do.

I’m begging you this one thing.

Do not go to the stadium on Sunday expecting to find 60k other people there!!

I have a Woolwich supporting friend who cannot believe I’m going to be cheering them on tomorrow.
Have even knitted a half and half scarf for the occasion.
Only eating Muller Rice this weekend too.

Obviously there’s definitely the possibility I’ve been abducted by aliens and been replaced by a clone.

However.

It will all be worth it if this happens ………

If we stay up I'm changing my name to Milesy by deed pole

And I can only post about what a wonderful guy he is

I'm not allowed to ever post anything else on this forum

Only Milesy worship

That's how fucking confident I am that we are down

Is an open topped bus planned ?

Still positive about staying up but feel it will go to the last game. I believe we will win tonight but Spam will win at Newcastle and we all know that Chelsea players have it written in their contracts that if they lose to us they only get half pay, so final day here we come, where by the way we will gloriously smash Everton.
Obviously we could win tonight and Spam draw or lose at Newcastle all over but clearly that’s not the Spurs way

I agree that there may yet be a few more twists . Let’s hope it won’t be this evening though .

It’s not unrealistic to expect “ a night for ages “ tonight !

I can’t see Span getting anything from the Bar Codes but quietly confident that we will beat Leeds tonight and avoid defeat at the Chavs!!

Morning you fucking soft bellied twats.

Since De Zerbi arrived we have:

1-0 v Sunderland
2-2 v Brighton
0-1 v Wolves
1-2 v Villa
1-1 v Leeds

GS - 6
GA - 5

W - 2
L - 1
D - 2

Whose to say we can’t stay up? Yes we need West Ham to fuck up

West Ham:

0-1 v Woolwich
0-3 v Brentford
2-1 v Everton
0-0 v Palace
4-0 v Wolves

GS - 6
GA - 5

W - 2
L - 2
D - 1

Now if you were a betting man you would say that Spurs have the slightest of edges

Yes we need Newcastle ideally to win and definitely not to lose and us again not to lose. If Newcastle win and we avoid defeat against Chelsea, well bar the formalities we stay up

Newcastle last 5 home games
W-2
L - 3

West Ham last 5 away games

W - 1
L - 3
D - 1

It’s also Newcastles last home game of the season much like Chelsea v us

Chelsea last 5 home games
L - 4
D - 1

GS - 2
GA - 9

Stayed in the stadium a bit after the game. Just to soak it in. Not the best night I’ve had in there. But walked out of the CL semi final 1-0 down.
It felt better than that!

Reality is Frank and Tudor bought us to this point. This calendar year those two jokers took 13 games to win us 5 points.
De Zerbi. 8 points in 5 games and unbeaten in 4.

And now we have a 2 point head start with 2 games to go. What a season. He’s given us some hope.

Doubt will get tickets to the Everton game. People are hanging onto their seats.
Probably best for my heart anyway.
