Kinsky played well . Am it's a very impressive recovery .
Buy, my you are getting carried away with the saves. I am not even sure he touches the first one - could have been post first - and it's a goal the keeper would be blamed for it is goes in The 2nd one was near post - again if it goes in and it's Vic in goal - he would have been blamed
That said - he did save it - and it was hit with a lot of power. And he his distribution was good
You must be Forrest Gump

I think he’s good enough to be our first choice gk next season, despite his young age .

In the championship for sure.

Think if we stay up we'll be looking to upgrade Vicario and keep Kinski second choice. But De Zerbi is a bit... different when it comes to keepers. Remember at Brighton he'd swap between two keepers depending on the opponent and game style he had in mind.

Will be interesting for sure

If he played the majority of the season we’d be half way up the league atleast. Vicario was such a destabilising influence especially at home with his kicking’, no presence on set plays and let’s in so many from longer distance. Almost single handily created tension in the stadium. Call should have been made 5 months ago. Kinsky can be a real top keeper.

Yeah if this form is his true level and not just a purple patch like Vicario's first 10 games then he could genuinely be a really top keeper. Still early days and risky to make him our outright number 1 next season, but on this form it's hard not to want to give him a proper chance at least. And if we do go looking for a replacement we won't find it easy to find a keeper this comfortable on the ball - he's already up there with the best in the league in that regard.

I heard a journo suggest we might be looking at Karl Darlow as a backup as he's out of contract in the summer and think that could be a good compromise. Would mean we have an experienced homegrown backup keeper who has proven he can handle PL football and step up if needed, but also give Kinsky a proper run in a team and see if he can make the position his own.

If Kinsky shits the bed we can then sell or loan him and buy a proper new number one in Jan/next summer.

That save was brilliant. He was excellent last night with the ball at his feet as well. Able to keep short, but when pressed good with both left and right to slap it down the pitch.

Good redemption arc and certainly earned his place in the team for the next 2 games irrespective of Vicarios availability.

That first save was incredible FFS!
To get down to that ball and stop it the way he does was superb, you must have some major issues to not have been able to see that.
The second was just fantastic reactions and a strong wrist (or thumb really) - it was belted at him from close range and goes through most keepers in that situation.

It was another good performance from Kinsky, allaying some of the concerns about his shot stopping and it's a bit weird that you're still talking about Vic.

I’ll genuinely be disgusted if vicario is brought back in for the final two games. Notice how much more solid and composed we look in defence without the clown in goal.

Where are the Vicario fans now?

I dont get this narrative of hes only good enough if we go down. Hes done nothing wrong since Madrid and even then that was only partially his fault. The Madrid pitch is infamous for messing keepers up.

Since then not a single goal we have let in ive fought he could do any better with.

Until proven otherwise he deserves a fair crack at keeping that no1 jersey
