I know it is out of topic, but is european football still that special thing anymore? I mean other than the money, and in case of EL, and ECL easy to win odds.

When you have the 7th, 8th, and even 9th qualify from the PL, what is so special about this anymore????

In theory the money from EL or ECL could be used to strengthen our squad for prestigious honors, but we all know that we are not the sort of club to do that

Only theoretical advantage is attracting more and better players. Didn’t seem to work for us, but some of that was probably Levy penny pinching too.

We got slammed for wanting to lose against City to deny Arse the league a couple of years back and yet the whole country is on it's knees to see us relegated, every fanbase would give up everything to see us going down...Chelsea fans wanting to lose the FA Cup final just to see us go down, it's mental lol

Mate. It would be the same if it was Arsneal, United, Chelsea, city, liverpool down there.

Its not mental at all, its completely normal.

i do agree with you on that, it would always be an exciting prospect seeing a big team go down, but lets face it we are despised a little more than those other clubs so the added satisfaction they will get from seeing us go down is bigger than normal i’d say.

Not a chance.

Compared to if Liverpool were in this position?

Woolwich??

Don't buy it.

We had half an hour to score a 2nd goal and didn’t test their keeper once . That’s what we should be pissed off about . I’m still angry at that .
I'm annoyed at both.
Even if we were played off the park , we still should have won the game , according to the rules .
West ham were outplayed against Everton , especially second half but they still nicked an undeserved win and three vital points. That's football sometimes.
