Not to mention assist stats are largely bollocks. Eriksen had mega stats because he was giving it to Kane, Son and Dele for years.
If he was feeding Richarlison or whoever WHU have up front, he'd have fuck all assists.
Influencing the game, key passes, accurate lasses, dribbles completed, big chances created etc are more indicative of a players worth.

The run Leeds are on, the fact they didn't get their parasol out against us or Brighton, makes me now think it's not a slam dunk for West Ham.

West Ham haven't won in 3 games. Leeds are on a super run and might also have Okofor back.

They are professionals.

Who knows but then winning today shows it's not just a THFC thing.

We just need to find 1 point from 2 games to be safe.

I'm still not confident of a point from our 2 games

We are fucking shit
Me neither. Sounds easy now.

But imagine how you feel after we lose to Chelsea on Tuesday night. Especially if it's the traditional bad defeat where they bully us all over the park. Then we go into the final game at home to Everton needing a point and we suck at home and it'll be a nervous tense atmosphere. So I agree! We could very well be relying on west ham to not win next week again!

I'm hoping that the players see the chelsea game as a freeshot now and play without pressure and put in a performance lile the villa game. Then also hoping Chelsea are a bit off it after Cup final. And we nick a point there and can relax.

But the most likely scenario is Chelsea beat us. And I do not fancy us at all if this goes down to the final day! We could lose 3-0 at home Everton after doing the big TIFO.

We don’t need players that are a slight upgrade on what we have. Our players are fucking shit.

This is my entire problem with the whole conversation. Summerville can be better than our wingers not named Kudus and still not be worth the price.

Unless you think we can tempt Krava, Doku or Vinicius the LW market isn't good, Ndiaye is the other player I like who I think we could realistically tempt but if you're looking for goals from that position than funnily enough Summerville is amongst the top scorers in that position in the league.

Surely we need a maximum of 1 point, not minimum. We might well not need any points, as there's no guarantee whatsoever that WH will win their last game. So we definitely don't need a minimum of 1 point. :/

The other issue is the phrase 'we need a maximum of one point' infers that getting more than one point might have bad consequences if we get more.

That's another reason why I think there are better ways to express the situation in English. But its not a phrase to die in a ditch over

My glass is half empty. I cannot see us getting anything at Stamford Bridge, especially with Alonso being unveiled. And Everton at home. Think they are not only better than us, but we’ve been so shit at home and won’t deal with the pressure. I guarantee Leeds will roll over for West Ham. Why is supporting Spurs so fkin difficult?
