Everyone seems to think it’s over with all these buy and sell lists. It’s not. Let’s get behind the players for these two games.
Hopefully the Newcastle result inspires the team and takes the wind out of Chelsea a little. If West Ham had won relegation would be so much more likely and that would massively feed the crowd and some of the players.

Even if they beat us we're still strong favourites to stay up now, so this game feels a lot less meaningful from a Chelsea POV.

Think scoring first is especially important. On our recent run under De Zerbi the only time we've been behind was against Sunderland and we really struggled to get back into that game after they scored. Under this interim, Chelsea have looked most comfortable sitting back and soaking up pressure (the cup games against Leeds and City). I worry if they score early they'll just park the bus and we won't be able to break them down.

The fact they're playing at home might play into our hands, though. They'll presumably try to play and maybe we can catch them out with the high press.

That’s the spirit not. That complacency is what has got us where we are. No wonder we can’t win at home. Serious clubs wouldn’t talk like that. We can’t rely on spam lossing to Leeds at home. We need to go all out and get the job done Tuesday. No bigger incentive now. Chavs played a tough cup final as well.
WTF are you talking about? It's nothing to do with complacency, it's not my 'opinion' - it's simply maths. 🤣

Of course we WANT six points from our last two games. Of course we WANT to get at least something at Chelscum to guarantee our survival before the weekend. But there is no remaining realistic scenario in which we NEED more than one point to survive.

My gut feeling is that we will go into Sunday still needing a point, but that tomorrow we will only fail (if we do), having given it everything.

The great thing tomorrow is that we can throw the kitchen sink at it,even though I think we will be defensively minded.

Their team selection will be quite interesting. One or two of the filth's players looked gassed or carrying slight injuries.

Vicario, Richarlison, RKM, Bissouma, Sarr I'd be moving on without question.

Obviously there's other who may well get moved on and rightly so, but those five would be first up imo.

They've all had countless opportunities. Not good enough.
I agree with you apart from Sarr, I think there is a player in there and I'd like to see what he is like after a full pre season with the RDZ!

Where would this squad/manager/ownership be in the table if they were fully fit?
We wouldn't have gifted the gooners 6 points I know that much is true, its a strange season as the league is actually really and the fact that 2 of the prompted teams are staying up proves this theory, you would like to think with not so many injuries we would have made mid 60 points which would get us CL , its just typical Spurs to be in such a mess in a kind of transition season for the big clubs and the goons to take advantage.
