I think the big difference between starting him and bringing him on, is that the game definitely starts at 0-0

I'd be fine with bringing him on for the 2nd half if we could guarantee it was 0-0 but we can't do that. Nobody can.
We need to force the issue now. We need to be ahead and have something to protect, but I can't see us getting ahead.

There's also the mentality of the opposition. Us being more of a threat up top will make them have to be more cautious reducing the pressure on our defence.
If they don't have a concern in their defence they'll commit more forward and we can't take advantage.

That's my reasoning for having him on for the start.
It's the last game of the season. It's basically win (or draw) or bust and we need him.

I think that's key...
We definitely start at 0-0, we can't guarantee that he helps us into a 2-0 lead....
But by the same token, we can't guarantee he saves us if he comes on at the 70th minute IF we're 0-2 down!!!

Truth is, the only certainty in football is that the cheats win!!
 
Impossible to make predictions, we have so many idiots that make terrible decisions, especially under this pressure, you could easily see an early sending off for us, a stupid penalty or the keeper chucking one into our net. Bit more hopeful of West Ham having a tough time against Leeds but having had their obituraries written twice after defeats to Woolwich and Newcastle feel they have a lot less to lose and will be less nervy. This is a bonus for them.

That cup led to this. It led to us finishing 17th last season. On exactly the same number of points we're on now.
Do fans really think we'd have gone from 4th last season to relegation this season?
Sure, the ropey league got us in the same competition, but there's a reason players like Eze (cunt) and MGW (hostage) decided not to push through with transfers to us. They could see we weren't actually a serious club.
