That'll do.

I wonder....
When fans were (constantly, for decades) asked "would you rather win a cup or finish top 4" still say "win a cup" ?
That cup led to this. It led to us finishing 17th last season. On exactly the same number of points we're on now.
Do fans really think we'd have gone from 4th last season to relegation this season?
Sure, the ropey league got us in the same competition, but there's a reason players like Eze (cunt) and MGW (hostage) decided not to push through with transfers to us. They could see we weren't actually a serious club.
We aren't here becuase we won a Cup though, the cup should have been a spring board to better things, we had the CL money , we should have took the life line and pushed on, however we are run by muppets who thought a team that finsihed 17th just needed a manager like Frank and a few signings to get back to the top.......

Going to this one but, tbh, I feel sick to the bottom of my stomach at what could, and probably will go wrong

I think we need to start Maddison and get a couple of goals up in the first half.
We had a reasonable amount of control last night, but totally lacked the penetration. Typically, Chelsea didn't put a foot wrong at the back for one match. Our starting 11 last night could only ever hope to manufacture a chance from a loose ball, a deflection etc. And at no point did it ever happen.

I could see Everton being similarly resolute at the back.

Agree with this, start Maddison and get a goal up, first goal if there is one will be crucial

The real danger with this game is that's its 0-0 with ten minutes to go.

You just know Everton would score from a set piece.....

The best PR the club can carry out this week is to announce the sackings of Lange and The Gooner.
That would be fantastic honestly. They are one of the main reasons we are where we are now. There is no reason to sack them after the season whether or not we go down. The last game being so decisive we might as well do it this week so the stadium doesn't reek of such foul stench from these two scum supporting cunts.

If we stay, great, at least we know the new season will be a new beginning. If we go down, we can take heart these two cunts won't be here anymore hampering our progression back to the league.
