We've had problems getting high quality players for a decade. This isn't a new problem. It's a board issue rather than anything else.

If we had owners who'd actually want success our potential would always be the very top regardless of previous league position.

I have lumped on a fair few quid on it because I would gladly pay that money for us to stay up and if we don't I'm on holidays in 2 weeks and the winnings will cover a number of nights out where I will badly need alcohol.

I always get some 'insurance' if you know what I mean. Just a tenner but that will pay for a drink or ten.
 
Just had a peek at the Leeds forum. As expected, lots want to see us go down (understandable) but would rather their team win. Some totally uninterested in the relegation battle. I really think we are relying on them now.

It's easy to say it but who are these players? And I don't mean players who have had good seasons and yet if we bought them it would ne howls of cheapskates. Real objective quality.

Expectations will seriously need to be modified in the next 2 or 3 seasons.

The problem with that is, you can do all the permutations that on paper looks favourable to us, but the reality is West Ham beating Leeds and us losing to Everton, is very possible. Much more possible than that picture you posted makes it look. Especially when you take into account our woeful home form.

We were a world class save away from losing last week to Leeds at home.
