Match **** Tottenham Hotspur v Everton 4pm Sunday 24th Of May ****

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

I'm just imagining this going into the last 20 minutes with West Ham just having scored to go one up and us at nil nil, sitting deeper and deeper as the Everton free kicks, corners and chances start to mount.

There is no chance we hold on in that scenario. We have to come out all guns blazing and get a two or three nil lead.

Unfortunately this Everton team are no mugs.

We can put our faith in Leeds but that's an embarrassing way to stay up...
Exactly what I am thinking too - we let the game go too long level and get sucker punched like so so so many times before at home.

I genuinely think the outcome will be clear before we get too deep into the final minutes.

Much as drama often tends to steer these things, I get a real sense of it being conclusive before we near the game's conclusion.

And it's in our hands, and as long as our players can harness and not crumble under the pressure........

Michael Oliver to referee/cheat Spurs, Anthony Taylor to help West Ham.

I don’t mind Oliver.. my biggest issue of late if ref’s refusing to make calls hoping VAR will do it for them then VAR See a foul but deem it not egregious enough to intervene.

Oliver has the arrogance to make his own calls and back then

Oliver was decent when he first became a ref, then he realised that you don't get the top gigs unless you do what the PL wants and he changed the way he refs dramatically.

Oliver has given the equal least number of pens this season, near the bottom of the list for yellows and near the bottom for reds. In this particular scenario where we are more likely to be the ones fouling / pressing I don't mind that too much, but it could go both ways.

My biggest fear about this game is that we get an early red card. Theoretically Oliver should make that less likely, although of 2 red cards doled out this season one was against Romero.

De Zerbi is an established manager. He will surely make that clear and much as emotion will be high, the players must also be aware.

Physical and robust but not overstepping the line.

Start fast, try to impose, grab an early goal and then let time take its course.

I wish I could trust them to do this. At least two of our tackles on Tues could have ended up as reds if a couple of centimetres either way. Basically, no sliders.

Agree with that and it shouldn't need saying.

Just give us one game where luck and decisions all go our way.

In a season of a series of unfortunate events, I think we deserve a break.

And I say this last bit in all honesty. West Ham have barely suffered any injuries. 2nd least in the PL.. They have no excuses whatsoever. None.
