Player Cristian Romero

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

In his defence (and I want rid of him badly)...

If I played in Argentina and Spurs had a Champions League final I could get to, and I was injured...

I would go to the Spurs game.

He feels about Belgrano as we feel about Spurs.

Hmm If I played in Argentina and I was the captain of a big club like Boca that may get relegated that day as well as being the club's second longest servant ....I think I'd choose the non cunt card and go to the game of the club that employees me rather than fly to England to watch spurs play in a final

Worst captain we have ever had. Embarrassment.

Emblematic of our season, and anyone who thinks Romero has not been a directly contributory factor towards our paucity in the last 2 years (Europa apart), is simply living in denial.

Can’t believe people defended this bellend. I hope his precious Argentina crash out and it’s all his fault and he spends the rest of his career being derided and hated in his own country too.

I got stick from a few posters couple of months ago saying Romero should be the first one sold , ain’t that right Tottenham Massive Tottenham Massive :angesmile2:

Any player who berates ENIC/Levy immediately gathers a flock of followers.

The club just need to do the right thing with Romero, because his presence on and off the pitch offers next to nothing.

Is it true about him going to Argentina to watch a different match???

Surely that's got to be Facebook bollocks?

The Club Captain not attending our last game of the season survival match ???

I refuse to believe that's true.

Why have the club even allowed him to go?

I wouldn't be surprised if they think it's because he's toxic and essentially the club want him gone, so the less he is around the better. Let's not forget he's directly criticised the club owners and board. It's probably being kept hush right now, but I wouldn't be surprised if it all comes out when he's gone, what a toxic presence he's been.

Because it's utterly bizarre why De Zerbi and the club would sanction it, unless it's because they genuinely don't want him around. There's no way a club or even a manager, wouldn't not want their captain around at a time like this. He's probably asked to go, and the club have been like, if you actually have the audacity to ask us that at this time, then it's better that you go.

There's no way this cunt is here beyond the summer.

Can anyone imagine John McGinn doing that at Villa? Or Vincent Kompany when he was captain at City? Or Keane at United?
