We’re still miles off.
Our squad is awful. Two 17th place finishes in a row. There’s comfortable 7 or 8 players that I never want to see in a Spurs shirt again.
De Zerbi will need three years or so.
I just want to see us play well at home. That’s it. Mid table mediocrity is fine.
We should never have signed either of them. Easy to upgrade on both.
I think we will have trouble getting rid of that many players for decent fees so I think it depends on what offers we get for who , to a certain extent. If for example we get a really good offer for either Solanke or Richy then just take it. Preferably it's for both.
I know we should forgive and forget and all that but I really believe that all of the catatastrophile posters who couldn't wait to post things like "We're fucked" should line up to say (1). How glad they are stayed up and (2) How wrong they called it.

Judging by DeZerbi's comments I think it's very likely he was intending to stay in Argentina and that he only changed his mind after the backlash.
I guess it's possible he was always going to fly back for the final game, and just didn't think to inform the managment. He certainly doesn't appear to be the sharpest tool in the box. It doesn't seem very likely to me though.
At least he did the right thing in the end I suppose, so fair play for that.

Imo de zerbi has way more tactical aspects in his locker to deploy next season. This was simply the beginning. Im very confident under de zerbi as our manager.
