Match **** Tottenham Hotspur v Everton 4pm Sunday 24th Of May ****

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Easy to say in hindsight...

Everyone is glad we stayed up, but I can't stand people with this bs smug attitude... Winning 1 game in 20, no one knew what was going to happen.

So why don't you just F off ya self, and put this season behind us.

The great rebuild starts today and let's see if the Lewis kids live up to their words...

Oh VV and Lange the Cunt get the sack too, hopefully.
I'm an awful long way from being smug and no, I won't be fucking off.

It's not much to hope that anyone who wallowed in our misery, who posted things like " "We're down", "We're utterly fucked" and so on to simply say, with a degree of humility, "Well, I called that wrong!"

Genuinely felt like I was going to barf the last 15 minutes, borderline hyperventilating at times. I don’t think a single game in our past or future will match that one for anxiety.

You savage. How dare you. He scored 11 goals this season, he's borderline world class. :simonstongue:

But in all seriousness, I get it, he's pony but we have to be realistic if we're going to completely gut the squad. He can still do a job as a super sub in some scenarios if we can't get a good sum for him and/or we don't get enough coming in to replace!
Id rather sell and move him on. Injury prone and shit.

He's just taking up a space of one of our young prospects who deserve more of a chance than him.

There literally IMO, is no justification for him staying here. First out the door.

Towards the end of January I was on here berating anyone that had the temerity to suggest we were, or would be, in a relegation battle. By mid April I was bedwetting with the best of them, convinced we were doomed.

Let me be among the first to say:

(1) I'm really glad we stayed up; and
(2) I called it wrong.
That's fine with me, no problem with that.

I'd be lying if I said I didn't share your concerns. And like you, I'm happy to say my concerns turned out to be unfounded.

God I'm glad now though. That's all I want people to say.

Yeah anyone waving their willy about because we have finished 17th again and had to go through the ultimate torture of this afternoon and this season is rather foolish
Just relief to be honest. Said I wouldn't celebrate but I had to cheer at the final whistle.

It really has been torture, I was certain we were down especially after the Forest game.

I'm stunned we are still in the PL. It's hurt the last few months so badly. I never dreamed the season could end on a positive note from the lows of Tudor.

I'm under no illusions big changes are now needed but what a bonus we don't have to do it in the Championship.
