Match **** Tottenham Hotspur v Everton 4pm Sunday 24th Of May ****

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

The best part of today is that Spurs winning was the story of the day in the league. Woolwich lifts the championship cup? Who, outside of Woolrich fans cares? It wasn't even the #2 story of the day. Pep's last game beat that out.
Salah's final game for Liverpool was MASSIVE!
"BONG!"
... and they ran out of sauce at Chick'King...
"BONG!!!"
Big news day!

That's what I feel too.

Believe me, I'm not smug in any sense of the word.

Just what you said though - god I thought we were fucked, god I'm glad we weren't, god we need to make some major changes, sack a few of these cunts.

YIDS
I'm sceptical that anything really changes under ENIC but if this whole escapade doesn't spark them into action nothing will

On a side note, I know it's trendy to dunk on the stadium, but that was without a doubt up there with one of the best atmospheres at any football match I've been to.

The stadium is not and never has been the problem, and when there's something on the line it can produce noise the likes of the Emirates and Etihad could only dream of.

If it was the title we were going for and not a relegation battle today the roof would have entirely come off.

Finally it's over. Spelt out the entire season of grievances to my missus right after the final whistle and even she felt we were so hard done by... PGMOL and refs tired so hard to rigged the game with a 6 minute difference. It's just sickening. I was expecting a pen to come right after if Everton equalised and send us done. Fucking cunts.

What a year of difference made. We celebrated with a massive crowd screening just last year for the EL win and this year she was seeing me all tensed for the wrong reason..

Fuck this season ever and never again.

Anyone else walk back down the High Road like this??

It's taken a few years, but the stadium is finally starting to find its voice. We've had the odd one-off glimpse of what's possible (eg Woolwich 3-0), but the dB's are increasing lately (often not in a good way, understandably).
If we start playing well and winning games next season, the stadium will become an immense place, I'm confident - like it was today.

I swear any managers who have coached us before can surely attest to that. (not so sure about the coward Frank. He can fuck off.)

But I want the swelling of emotions to be accompanied by a cup next. De Zerbi deserves it. We had that last season and that's what we should always feel and aim to achieve. Let this season be the nightmare we will never have again.

I think the stadium has been getting a bad rep unfairly, because you can track our downfall as a club beginning (coincidentally) when we moved in. Aside from Levy's focus being split and that having an impact on our player recruitment, I don't think there's been any other direct issue to blame on the stadium.

Shockingly enough: play well, connect with the fans, and they'll back you. Play like shit and things can get toxic. Revelatory stuff.
