I don't necessarily disagree but we'll just have to wait and see.
If they fail this summer, then I'll be on the "out" train as much as I was with Levy but I do think the kids deserve this window to put their money where their mouths are.
Yeah I think they've done an absolutely horrible job since Levy's been sacked. Like abysmally shit. But I also think we need to give them a bit more time to see if they genuinely have any intentions of fulfilling on their promises or if it's all just lip service. The audit was only done a year ago and last summer was the transition window with Levy still jostling for control.

Since then it's easy to say nothing's changed but they've literally had 1 window post-Levy and they (incredibly unwisely) decided to be strategic and hold spending until the summer. Ironically that did show change in approach...but a negative one as it almost got us relegated.

This summer window is the one we need to truly judge them on. If they don't show some ambition then we know it's just business as usual and we're dealing with Levy-Lite. And they need to continue to make changes behind the scenes to fix the absolute mess that is the football operation.

I dunno dude, this season has been incompetency to astronomical levels, and there's really no indication in there that they're taking any accountability at all, despite this mess stemming from the top. Vinai and Lange should've been gone this morning at a minimum.

All for Sensai & Scott, both much improve the team/squad. Not sure about Robertson, but Udogie is woeful going forward, gets so far then like a rabbit in headlights.
For me Solanke, Richy, Vicario, Muani, Bissouma, Sarr, Dragusin, Davies (just age profile) Romero and Austin can all leave permanently for one reason or the other.
We then probably need to loan Gray , Bergvail, and possibly Souza and Tel depending on incomings. Fewer games next season means they probably benefit from loans rather than warming a bench.
We need huge upgrading up top, and left wing and it ain't Parrot and Savinho we need. Parrot has succeeded in a lesser league, we are not at a crossroads in time where we need to gamble if he can now do it in a very physical premier league. Savinho is just meh, not for me, has to be better options out there.
I wonder if DeZerbi can get more consistency from Spence and Porro who lets not forget were woeful for large parts of the season.
Likes of Kroupi, Damsgard, Hall, Sensai, Scott, Kayode, Bowen all attainable and would improve us.
But worried if Lange not moved on soon, don't want him overseeing anything going forward.

He's a massive Spurs fan so there's always that possible hook. His family are as well I believe.

Who knows but I think part of any selling point on our behalf will be what kind of vision we offer.

If it's progressive and outlines something that appears to have substance, then players can maybe see how they might fit in and how that might translate to success.

Players always must decide if they want to be integral or bit part plsyers, as Scott probably would be at 2 or 3 clubs.

For now I think we should chill..

New FWD

29 players...

Souza, Moore, Tel out on loan.

Odobert out until November, Xavi out until January, no knowing what will happen with Kulusevski

That makes it 3 out on loan, 2 out until halfway through the season and 1 with a huge career question mark over him.

Genuinely our squad needs 10 new players. From those currently fit or near to being fit we only really have about 11 players for a 22 man squad.

GK - Kinsky, Sommer, Austin
RB - Porro, Spence
LB - Udogie, Robertson
RCB - Vuskovic, Danso, Dragusin
LCB - van de Ven, Senesi
DM - Locatelli, Palhinha, Gray
CM - Scott, Bentancur, Gallagher, Bergvall
AM - Gibbs-White, Maddison, Simons
RW - Kudus, Wilson, Kulusevski
LW - Diomande, Tel, Moore, Odobert
ST - Marmoush, Solanke

4 freebies in Sommer, Senesi, Robertson and Wilson, Palhinha will cost like £20m. Gives them room to spend money to spend on:

Locatelli (£40-50m?),
Alex Scott (£50-60m?)
MGW (£60m)
Diomande (£80m+)
Marmoush (£50-60m?)

Sell:
Vicario (£15-20m)
Bissouma (Free)
Richarlison (£15-20m)
Romero (£50m)
Sarr (£20-25m)
Solomon (£5m)
Davies (Free)

Maybe have to loan Bergvall and/or Gray so as to not stunt their development.

That’s a strong squad that on paper should be competing for top 6 minimum, probably even higher. It’s a lot of money, but we need to spend a lot of money, there’s no two ways about that.

Paulie is off, by the looks of it. :(

EDIT: But there is now news that says he wants to stay, so just avoid reacting until he's signed something.

We do badly need a left sided attacker and Savinho would be attainable. Concerns are around his output and apparently he was just abysmally shit on the rare occasions he did play last season (although admittedly he never got a run in the team).

He's one I'd be fine with if De Zerbi wants him and feels he would be a good fit. Profile-wise he could be our Mitoma.

We need more goals in this team.

Richarlison's probably gone so that's 11 goals we need to replace. Then on top of that we have to get at least 5 more goals than we've gotten this season as it is.

I don't trust Solanke to stay fit let alone get double digits next season and the striker options in the market aren't great either.

People are talking about Savinho but he doesn't score enough goals.

Is this real? See nothing on his X feed.

My feeling on Savinho is similar to last summer in that I don’t think he forgot how to play football overnight. He’s a livewire with versatility who runs at the defense and is always positive, a real jugador bums off the seats player which I think we miss badly. Problem is we miss so many other things in attack.. mostly goals, and that’s his big weakness. My other issue is, is he really a De Zerbi target or another of the cursed “club signings”? Still, if it’s a discount I’m interested.

Savinho-Maddison-Kudus is assist city if they all stay fit.

Whoever we buy for ST will not be short of opportunities.

Where's Lewa off to? A year of Lewa until Lankshear is ready?

Toney has reached his threshold where he won't have to repay income tax. Could be available.

Yeah that's a very legit concern. The hope would be De Zerbi could bring that out of him - he did get 9 goals in his last season in La Liga so he might have it in him. And Pep has had similar issues with certain wide players before - Grealish and Doku's goal scoring also dropped off at City playing off the left.
