Injury hit season, and no creativity in the side for most of time he was fit, so didn't come anywhere close to the 20+ goal involvements he achieved last season.
But we need to replace Kolo Muani and probably Richarlison, so Solanke stays as we will not be buying 3 top forwards this summer who are productive in terms of goals/assists.

He should replace Richarlison as the backup but we will need a better starting 9 for next season.
Diouf is very much a one trick pony. He’s a blazing overlapping LB who’s a cross machine but the rest of his game is very raw. His defense is frankly just bad at this point, he’s quick but has very little fundamentals. He is not good in the air. He is hyper one footed and a bit of a liability in buildup. He is truly elite at his area of expertise: running down the by line and crossing, and that will make him quite a lot of money in his career. He will likely play for a CL team. But quite honestly, think Souza might end up being the better of the two.

I'd also argue that we need to give the midfielders more of a green light to shoot from far as well.

We are in negotiations with clubs and reps re half a dozen other players - first and second choices at 3 different positions, so our aim is to sign 3 of them (one for each position).
From Guinevere: RDZ reviewed the target list produced by JL and the scouting team. He approved most of them; he rejected a few based on lack of fit for the system he wants to play and/or him not rating the player.
