We have every chance against the "elites" if we are bid at the top table.
The "elites" cannot buy every top player, that is impossible.
Brighton, Bournemouth, and Brentford did not buy elite players, but they all had better scouts, networking and a desire to think ahead.
ENIC could on Sunday have lost 250 million in revenue had we been relegated, so logically to spend that amount on player transfers this summer would be a saving.

The double striker sale/purchase is a bit pie-in-the-sky (think we'll v.likely keep Solanke tbh) but agree on the rest of the outgoings.
Suspect Scott will go elsewhere and not sure he's quite the right profile for us - would basically mean we're completely giving up on Gray and Bergvall as he'd directly block their path - but he would obviously be a really good signing. Been saying it for years, but the midfield profile we need is more of a passing/tempo setting number 6 rather than another all-action box to box guy.

They're still moving on mate. The point is clear that they're the players that should not be involved in the squad at the start of the season, be it by sale, contract exploring or a loan that isn't renewed or option taken up etc
Either way we know the ones that the club doesn't need to have around anymore
WTf are we doing here? Woltemade? Goncalo Ramos? Neither of these have scored anything like the number of goals Richy has ffs - and I think we all agree we want to upgrade Richy.
Alex Scott is great but is he the world Class technical 6 this side desperately needs since Bissouma failed. An upgrade on Sarr though for sure,
Savinho has done absolutely fuck all EVER (but maybe RDZ can change that); Vuscovic is most likely not playing at Spurs next year and that's probably for the best because he's still learning.
SO that's Trafford a slight upgrade on Vicario. Senesi who is decent but not an upgrade on Romero and leftsided anyway; and no one who moves the fucking dial an anything we've done since losing Kane and Son.
Look it's all moot anyway because I'm sure RDZ knows exactly who he wants and that will be fine by me but apart from Alex Scott there's literally not one player on your list that gets me out of my seat - or shifts the mood from the long era of decline.

This is what I have been thinking. Get forwards in, score goals next year, and get up into the top ten. Then drop the hammer in 27-28
It's pretty obvious Paratici leaving was also related to working with Lange. Even if Paratici as the main DoF, the power was split and Lange was, seemingly, closer with Frank and Vinai and won the power struggle. I'm not a big fan of Paratici, but you need to empower your DoF, not undermine them.
It's yet another reason why we need to fire Lange into the sun. Any new DoF, even with Lange working under them, will have to deal with the political bollocks of Lange's presence.
If he stays it proves Vinai and the board are weak and haven't learned their lessons.

Agree with all this, except I think Ramos would be a great signing.
He’s scored the same amount as Richy this season, but in almost half the minutes. Think Ramos has a mad stat of a goal every 73 minutes!
Make him the main man and I think you’ve got some player. Could be wrong, but yeah, agree completely otherwise.
Woltemade cost €95m last summer. He is not at all realistic.
Been there done that? Only Bissouma was a bit of a coup at the time.
Solanke was mid performing. Richarlison was mid. Johnson was mid. There were no big clubs in for those players.

And tbh I don't think any big clubs were in for Bissouma either and there was a reason we got him cheap. Think we ignored character/off-the-field issues cos he was good price.
