Yeah, this .. that England team is built for pace and power. The entire core is tall, athletic, and the midfielders all make a lot of runs and cover ground.
Tuchel wants a leggy team to physically bully team and runners around Kane. That’s the plan. Whether it works or not is the question, but that’s the idea.
If Henderson truly loves his country he should be calling Tuchel first tomorrow morning and tell him he is withdrawing from the squad and Wharton should go in his stead.
Bellingham is elite and one of the best in the world - the midfield being Rice, Bellingham, Anderson makes perfect sense, but someone like Wharton should be in the squad as something different.
