Fucks me off that the media absolutely refuse to call him out, I was listening to Sky earlier and they said something along the lines of Tudor being the reason why we are in this position and totally ignored Frank, fuck off.

He need to go to an underdog again - that's the only type of club where his negative, data-driven, set piece + cross spamming shtick will be accepted and work.

When I look at the current Prem I struggle to pick a club I can picture him doing well at tbh. Maybe like Sunderland? Or one of the relegation/promotion teams? Leeds? Almost all the others team to currently have better styles of play and more ambition on the ball than Frank would offer.

I’m sure he’s a perfectly fine manager but that being said Brentford were better this year without him. We went from all out attack, which was great when it worked to “Clean Sheet Mentality”, which is perfect for a newly promoted team. For Celtic, they might as well get Ange back.
 
It is quite weird how the media and internet seem to absolve him of any blame in how the season went. The club not speaking ill I get because you don't shit talk a former employee out in the open. But the media seem to want to paint a picture of the troubles starting with the hiring of Tudor. Which just boggles the mind.

He should have gone after Woolwich away. Still cant forget towards end of first half that game he got vicario from just inside own half just to lump it into Woolwich box but ball sailed over for a goal kick. Diabolical tactics.

I genuinely think the players tried. I saw lots of effort, I saw them trying to follow instruction - but very quickly it seemed pretty obvious they just didnt believe in them. And over time seemed to just become baffled by what he was trying to instruct.

It must have been a mind fuck hearing all those comments about progress and alignment and that, and then seeing what he was doing in training

I dont think he will. Has a voice like nails on a chalk board, not really TV quality (not that many are)

And Im not sure he is qualified to talk about football to be honest, Ive seen him manage my team - "manage" - was quite clear to me why Vinai bought into him, hes another corporate type, a delegator, Im far from convinced he really knows football at all. Only stats and soundbites.

It was never going to work. This was a man who interviewed for the Man U and Chav job and those two clubs went for Amorim and Maresca. Both those managers are no longer at those respective clubs. Ultimately, Frank is small time. He was a small cog in the Brentford wheel that was easily replaced and his tactics have always been pragmatic and risk averse. It does make me laugh that the media have given him a free pass when in reality his level of shite is the main reason we spent the second half of the season up to our necks in shite.
