You say we should cite why we want players at the club and why we disagree with some suggestions. Then you mention that you don’t want Leao because he would not provide the added difference, being just your opinion. You haven’t exactly done what you want us to do there have you? 😂😂😂

Fair.

From what I have seen of Leao, I don't see the cut and thrust of let's say Anthony Gordon. In fact Leao reminds me of a poor Sane.

I think we need players who are on the cusp of becoming something. Leao has been around for a while and to me looks like the type of player who won't quite get to whatever potential that night be there.

I really want to see us buying dynamic and quite fiery attacking players, or someone with Son's cold-eyed clinical edge.

In writing, it's just an opinion I was of course merely stating the obvious.

We should be really, it always has a knock on affect to the rest of the team
Not for Chelsea, City, Liverpool, United or woolwich.

They’ve created an environment where only the Villa’s, Newcastles and Evertons need to concern themselves by the financial rules.

Spurs voluntarily put themselves in the beta club group that worries about that as an excuse for the owners to not invest their own money.

I’m hoping the Spurs fanbase is ready to stop buying that shit sandwich from them

I’m not against Rashford now because he’s looked good at Barca.

I was when he was in the prem and obviously never doing the out of possession work to press.

It’s definitely easier to look good for Barca though.

I was speaking to some Man U fans yesterday and none of them want him back. Too lazy and only turns it on when he fancies it. If he’s like that for his boyhood club he will be even worse at his next English one. Besides he’s on over £300k a week, even we wouldn’t be that desperate. Villa fans are probably a good one to check on their views on him I suspect.

That’s better. 😂😂

Is probably the right answer

But I do have a nagging doubt that he was demotivated in his career, distracted by wokery for his own do-gooder ego, and the work ethic thing was a phase.

Maybe getting away from all the noise in Spain has refocused him on making the most of his peak years?? If that’s the case, Rashford is a serious player.

Actually wages have had a knock on affect for Liverpool, Kounate immediatly wanted a higher wage since they gave Salah a big pay rise

Utd have had problems with wages over the years, we are literally talking about Rashford being on big money and him being a problem

Chelsea have reduced their wage bill significantly as well

It's only Woolwich who have gradually increased, something that we should be doing as we look to improve, sticking Rashford on £350k a week which is nearly more than double of our current highest earner isn't the one.

We need to pay higher but we need to be sensible.

Nah. The Villa loan is the period to look at. How motivated was he for them, how did he perform and train. That’s what he’d be like for us. Their fans never seemed that bothered about not signing him and it’s safe to say they haven’t looked like they missed out on him. If I could be fucked I’d search on their forums but I am pretty certain I already know the answer.

Who are youre suggestions then.

Its not as easy as just plucking the 3 top scorers of clubs that are not at big clubs and buying them is it? We tried that one with solanke.

The issue with Solanke was that he wasn't a consistent goalscorer, despite being a very good footballer he'd had mixed seasons in terms of goal returns and I think we bought him on the back of one pretty good season.

It's a similar situation with Richarlison, who has been out biggest goal threat this season despite never scoring more that 13 Premier League goals in a single season.

I honestly think Toney would have been the safe bet at the time, as he's the type of striker that would consistently put up good numbers regardless of what team or league he's playing in.

Would personally like us to go for an experienced goalscorer like a Toney, Guirassy or Schick.

By all means go and debate that with Liverpool fans it their interested in all that Jazz

I doubt it though

If Liverpool wanted to keep Konate, they could have but they obviously didn’t rate him that much

Like him or loathe him, Rashford is a proven left wide forward. If it's true that DeZerbi wants him, and the club has promised to pay higher wages, surely we have to back the club and manager

Him coming might blow up in their faces and he is more trouble than it's worth but we can't say back the manager and give him the players he wants no matter the cost, and when the club does that then say not for Marcus fucking Rashford :rdzbored:

What the f is going on here

Yes.

Bloke is toxic.

It's not a coincidence that he constantly falls out with players/boards, and whoever else.

He is just unsustainable, his methods, his tactics, his demands

When his career is over he'll look at his pile of trophies and say he was a great manager

But hes basically a bloody good one night stand who then shits on your carpet before leaving the next day

Not a quality, fulfilling, long term relationship....

He has moments, not legacy

Could actually see our crew bidding on Rashford, he ticks some of their boxes, left winger needed, prem experience and most importantly will be relatively cheap. Wages would be an issue as would be keeping him motivated. On his day he can terrorise defences, just doesn't have enough of those days. RDZ did work wonders with players like Welbeck and Milner, just not sure Rashford has the necessary fight and desire.

Thats the catch

Otherwise, could be a great option

On his day he is incredible, can single handedly win matches

Off his day he is a very expensive waste of time...
