Transfers Summer 2026 Transfer Thread

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

He's played on the left this season tbf.

Thought he was played as an 8, didnt do much, got moved back to 10 and got back to his best?

Not entirely sure how transfermarkt defines its positions, but according to this he was AM the vast majority of games:

LM x 2 and LW x2

And these guys say:

edit, that pasted in fine but did not post fine :vinai:

AM - 37 apps
LM - 4
ST - 3
CM - 2
AM(right) -2
AM(left)1
Midfield(right)-1

(last 50 games)

Do we need another young CB?
Vusko, Dorrington, Phillips, Takai...
I could be questioned whether Dorrington and Takai will be good enough but I'd rather keep Vusko and Phillips, than but another CB.

VDV, Danso, Senesi, Vusko and Phillips seen ample for one game a week.

Agreed

Its that time of year where we are every agents favourite club, we are the default for drumming up interest arent we?

All that sounds good and well until a bigger club with more money and success shows up and gives him a much better plan.

Well obviously but once upon a time Chelsea and Man City were nothing Clubs with no pulling power - until their owners got serious. Chelsea never have problems competing for top level transfer targets regardless of being in Europe or not. Because they are now regarded as being "serious" - even with the utter clown show they've been for some years.

And I think Wharton is at a "rung" similar to MGW last season where we can compete if we're serious. The problem with the MGW transfer last season was that Marinakis called our bluff and we folded - because we weren't serious. Until that changes nothing will.

I honestly think the smart thing to do is to wait for the Champions League clubs to do their business and then see what's left.

We can't compete with United, City, Woolwich and Liverpool so let's see what they do first.

Phillips is very obviously never playing for the senior team mate. He’s not a De Zerbi CB.

This guy, 👆, is either Vinai, Lange, or someone who works for them.

I could search, but I am pretty sure on February you thought there was no one to sign during January who would benefit the team, and injured players would return.

Aston Villa say hi, and what a load of nonsense x
N'Dombele was on 225,000 a week.

I repeat if we cannot afford to pay one single signing 300K a week who will add something special to the team then we will never win anything of note.

Some in here want us to buy Rashford and his salary (contract to 2028) is 325k a week.

Time will tell, but so far we are talking about free transfers, and retaining a thirty odd year old that their contracted club doesn't want.

The ENIC statement isn't worth the paper it's written on.
