Want holtby on as well his energy is just what we need in the middle him and lamela are the type of players who hunt down the opposition and put pressure on them.

A lot of our poor play today seemed to stem from west ham bullying us but holtby bullied them when he came on. West ham are a southern stoke, they turn the game into a fight and players like Lennon and naughton just get beat up.

think townsend offered much more than lennon. won us 3-4 corners in 15 minutes and did well against their defense. Eriksen hasnt adapted to poch's system. very worried about him. kaboul and daws are shite and need to be shipped and bring in musacchio

So, I'm not gonna go back and wade through all of the posts, but I'm sure that someone has brought up how Adebayor looked like a sack of bricks running around out there. Towards the end he had a few decent plays, and finally had a little bit of a fire underneath him, but Poch was smart to get him off the pitch. I don't think he's going to start next week.
 
Average age of the squad that finished the game for us: 23.3.

That doesn't include Walker, Lamela, or Davies. We have some serious young talent. If we can keep them together for a few years...
 
To be serious for a minute, I am legit impressed how quickly the Spammers cleared out that stadium. It was full, then the camera panned to he Spurs section for 45 seconds, pans back and.... *poof*

Yeah I think as a full squad we were like 4th youngest. But Friedel also counts as two players.

I made a post last year comparing our PL appearances as a squad to the rest of the top prem teams. I think we had about 1/5th what United had. Without Dawson and Lennon it was a staggeringly small amount considering they have almost 500 between them. We get this team seasoned to the Prem and hold onto our players and we could be a real beast in a few years.
