Ex-Spurs Player Christian Eriksen

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

The good thing however is that argument holds true for Lloris, Eriksen, and Kane, opposed to the season before last, when we were entirely reliant on one man, Bale.

Baby steps.
Chadli is close to figuring into this equation as well, and I'm still hoping that Lamela will one day, as well.

If we're reliant on 5 players to save our points then that's bordering on a comfortable place to be.

Where are all those hamptons who wanted to bench him few weeks back?

:harrylol:

I present to you the great THFC-comedy, starring Christian Eriksen and AberdeenYid in an epic battle :harrylol:

'give him time to adjust to the new system' new system this new system that...FUCK THAT! if your good enough it will show no matter how your manager tells you to play.

Playing Eriksen is ruining our team.

Eriksen is just becoming a tactical noose for us. Get back what we paid and get rid.

I believe Eriksen is too slow and not a hard enough worker to play as a winger or central midfielder.
He's an excellent player, but his only position in the team that makes any sense at the moment is on the bench to replace Kane late on in matches.

I'd argue that whilst Eriksen has a delightful habit of scoring late winners, dropping him means we wouldn't have to. We'd already be home and hosed with a more balanced side.

I think he should stick to Crossy Road

Just kidding - he's alright. And to be fair - at the time of those posts he was a bit off-colour, but one should have never doubted his quality. He's been our best and most consistent performer along with Lloris for 18 months

Definitely impressive the way Eriksen has adapted himself to Pochettino's system. On paper he looked like a candidate to struggle with the new style of play and he did not hit the ground running this season but he's been superb the last two months or so. Never easy for a footballer to adapt their already very polished game for the good the team and system but Eriksen is a smart and unselfish player. We're lucky to have him.

Also, a few last minute winners are all well and good, but I still say he unbalances the team. Play an extra striker against wee teams, an extra tackling midfielder against the others and maybe proper wingers instead and we wouldn't have to rely on last minute goals against shite like Sunderland.
