It's better for things to be this bad. Drastic changes need to be made at this club. We need to give Poch time and let him rebuild this club. The first step will be getting rid of all the deadweight this offseason.

I've seen a couple of posters lose their shit in this thread at the people praising Sherwood and basically supporting him against us. However, I can't see those posts. Anyone point me in the right direction, or are the usual suspects all paranoid again?

Odd because thats all Ive been accused of recentley. Today I feel fucking vindicated. Not a good feeling though sadly.

The players are signed by committee, of which the manager is only part. This was make clear by the club in one of the recent meetings with the Trust. The likelihood is that some of the same people, such as Baldini, are as involved in Poch's "signings" as they were under previous managers. So pinning it on managers solely is utterly disingenuous. What's more, Poch shares Sherwood's youth philosophy, so you really can't praise Weasel boy and rip into Poch over signings, when both believe in concentrating on youth. Plus, of course, Weasel never made any signings anyway, so you can't assume that if he had they'd be a success.

You had a rant about Pochettino that was aimed at antagonising as many people as possible the second the final whistle was blown. You wanted a reaction, but alas, I think people were more disappointed and jaded than angry this time around, and the responses you've garnered are largely fair and calm.

But you got what you wanted, and now this thread is the sammyspurs sammyspurs show.

If you want people to listen to you, don't make your platform "you're all idiots who can fuck off and Spurs is shit". Because guess what: you won't have many takers. What are we supposed to say, Sammy? People supporting Poch does not mean that we think he's perfect.

We're tired of going through manager after manager, and it's not surprising to see a young coach making poor decisions tactically. He will be here next season, with another transfer window of change under his belt, so why wouldn't we be behind him now?

He makes a lot of decent points. It's just the way he goes about it.
 
Dreadful. We do not have alot of alternatives, I know, but Lamela would have deserved the start over Chadli today. And Dembele should get some game time. I can't think of anything Yedlin could do worse than Chiriches at RB. Not his natural position.

Even Eriksen has been bad today. It's awful... the players are looking for DANNY ROSE, to bring the ball forward. All credit to him - only one with Bentaleb trying to get something from this game.

For this game though, you partly have to blame Poch, but there is no reason in wanting the manager out again. Some players in our squad shouldn't be anywhere near playing Premier League football.

I've been openly disdainful of his management in games - particularly the choice and timing of his substitutions. I'm not blind to the problems we've got at the moment.

So if you want to try that again.... why am I 'bitching' about you, Sammy?
