Match ****Frankfurt v Anges Blue & White Army **** 8pm Thursday 17th of April

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Just thinking if players think manager is shit they take ownership of themselves and somehow take game by scruff of neck. Great players do that. Could go either way this game. Its win win for us. Win we go through, lose Ange will be sacked.

Don't forget Son on the edge of tears saying 'its not good enough and we will learn from this'

I swear to god, if one person after the game says "We'll learn from this", I'm going to bloody explode.

They never learn, they always wilt under pressure and never turn up when it's really needed.

I think it's a bit more than that to be honest.

I don't believe that players don't give their all but something has been terribly wrong this season.

We know none are a Bale or Kane (although Bale was a level above for me), but the inability to withstand pressure, as in playing without fear or avoiding mistakes is absent.

And that falls to the manager, who has shamefully had more time than results and performances have justified.

And only if were 2 up with a minute to go would I believe we were safe. How can thar be right.

It's hard to see how we find a victory on Thursday, and it will hurt even more if any of the other 3 English teams go through, especially that rabble and United. I just hope PSG finish off Villa tonight for starters.

Last 16 games in the league.

14th. Chelsea
15th. Man United
16th. West Ham
17th. Spurs

64 games played between them.
17 wins. That’s absolutely shocking.

Wonder how long it has been since 3 of the big 6 have been in this type of situation at the same time. 70s or 80s I guess.

Football runs in cycles. We need to get out of this shit one quickly.
Good thing the 3 promoted below sides are pretty terrible if not we would be in real trouble this season.
No we were never in relegation trouble. Back in the 1990’s when we skirted with it we always looked at 40 points as the target to be safe. Many years you could get away with less points. We are only 1 win away from 40 points and had we been in real trouble we would not have rested players in league matches. This is despite the massive injury problem we had earlier in the season.
Everton were for a time but MU never were either.

I've never understood this idea that being critical on an internet forum somehow affects the team.

If we're not allowed to question the players and manager here then where are we allowed to?
I think some of the posts and no doubt elsewhere go further than critical. Mistakes are always criticised and weak players but I do not think any player is not criticised at present. Romero for instance is World class and a World Cup winner rated by Messi as the best defender in the world. Yes he made mistakes that led to goals earlier in the season and again at the weekend but we really should be keeping him and yet there will be some pleased to see him go.

He will try to impress. In the first leg he scored a good goal but not much else. Anyone else interested in him in England will also watch the match.
He's talented but he's another player that is a year and a half from being EPL dominant. I'm not sure we can afford another player like this. We need two or three big time players with egos ( forget the no dickheads shit, it's foolish. You need dickheads. No rapists racists that's all) but we need to pay over the odds and tell an Oshimen lead us back to the big time here's a fucking big bag of cash. Do the same to Tapsoba, and whomever their midfield corollary is. We need this type to inspire the young players and establish guys we have. No more development punts.

2 fcuking days to go.

Fear of being embarrassed again, tinged with a hint of excitement, and also relief that it may soon be all over. And it's not even Easter yet.

Maybe the players gave up winning for Lent. Bloody hope not!!
