How many of the winners team of 2025 would make the cut of the losers team of 2019?

Not comparable in any way. shape or form...if they played each other it would be about 10-0 to the 2019 team...FYI:

NahGood question.
Theoretical of course.
For me none. That is how good the team in 2019 were.
But if pushed hard, Johnson because he just scores goals and Romero because when he focuses there is maybe only Vertonghen who was better, in terms Iof defensive capability and attacking potency.
But 2019's team was magnificent amd would have cantered to the Europa and challenged this Liverpool side to the PL title.

Walker, Dembele and Wanyama had all left (or been injured beyond repair) for one reason or another by 2019 (at least in the case of the final, were, “gone” from their peaks at Tottenham and are thus absent from the line up) and they were arguably a real loss in strength.
It's close, but really Maddison has been better this season than Eriksen was in 2019.FYI:

I’ll never forget Winks bossing the midfield v Madrid - think that was a better performance personally despite nit winning a trophy. It's close, but really Maddison has been better this season than Eriksen was in 2019.

Any of this year's midfield 3 gets in over Winks, and have a shout to be in over Sissoko. Bench-to-bench Spence gets in the squad over Aurier or Walker-Peters.
People overestimate how good we were in '19. The rot had set in, even though we got to the final it wasn't the high pointIt's close, but really Maddison has been better this season than Eriksen was in 2019.

There was a reason why Poch said he wanted to quit after the final, and why the next season started so poorly and he got sacked.People overestimate how good we were in '19. The rot had set in, even though we got to the final it wasn't the high point
