I can't understand what anyone ever saw that makes them think he's anything more than average.

There's nothing there. He's a mid table La Liga player, like thousands of others nobody could name.

And there's nothing wrong with this. My problem isn't with him, it's with the fans who have convinced themselves there's "a player there"
