I wonder if they will play their CL games at the new academy stadium, that way they can say they sold out the stadium.
That's actually pretty clever.
What's the point of this. They'll never bring through any youth players anyway. Unless they buy them in from Europe, Africa and South America

I saw Stan Collymore being attacked by some know-it-all 60-year old female City fan on Twitter yesterday.
Stan said something along your lines, saying - lets see how many players they have brought through in 5/10 years.
She said Pozo played the other day.
He responded that he was purchased from Real Madrid for £2m and was not a product of City's academy.
She then claimed the academy had only just opened, give them a chance.
He then sarcastically apologised for not realising they didn't have an academy previously, and that this would now allow them to have one
Needless to say, she closed her Twitter account shortly after.
