This is irrelevant in isolation

Run a similar chart that shows investment into the club by the clubs owners and you will see we toil behind clubs like Bracknell Town, Wrexham and Forest Green amongst 100’s of others and this has been the case for 25 fucking years. There’s lots of good work being done to grow revenue organically, but it simply masks the complete failure of that disgusting leach Lewis to invest

If the cunt won’t invest or die, then get some external investment in sharpish you dithering, penny pinching, speculative retailer

You're right, they have. I was mid rant and kept it higher for dramatic effect ;)

Still, it's as if Chelsea have said to Villa, "I'll give you £10 if you give us £10", then they both book that £10 on this year's revenue but only have to book £2 in costs in each of the next 5 years. So this year shows £8 in profit. It's accounting bullshit. Surely, surely they won't allow it. Makes a mockery of the whole system.
But presumably in that scenario, you’ve got ur £8 profit BUT then have to factor in that same deal you did the year before, meaning you take the £2 amortised amount from that deal giving you only £6.
And actually you did that deal the year before that and the year before that too so that’s another £2 and £2 leaving you with only £2 profit for this year.

Guess my point is, these are reported always on a forward looking basis. But given the accepted accounting practice seems to be recognise 100% of the sale value in the year you sell, you don’t get the benefit of that in future years. But you do get the bill for the amortised deals from previous years.

Meanwhile, Daniel confirms our transfer budget

Now it’s 19m Kellyman, 18yrs old Villa to Chelsea. Daniel will be on it .
Mind you if we were in their position we would do it as well. We have the master at it, Paratici.
