Player Lucas Bergvall

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

The boy's a bit special.

Kick started Spurs best period in the game last night carrying the ball through the midfield and thumping that shot against the bar.

If that flies in the top corner; the roof comes off the Levydome & Spurs add to the lead.

Genuinely unlucky, on this occasion, but Bergvall is the best thing to come out of this season.

the bit before he hit the bar, i wonder if he got lucky just before that or he had the awareness of all that space where he could run into. watching it again he might of had a quick look before turning, if so thats class.

big player for us next year. i like kulu but bergvall is a more well rounded footballer. he can literally do it all, hes a proper midfielder.

Defo overhit the touch away from the 2 players slightly but made full use of the space once he had it

When given the choice people will almost always prefer risk prone players to risk averse ones, but his decision making is really erratic nonetheless. His giveaway before the fourth goal was inconsequential in the grand scheme of things, but it could've easily happened under very different circumstances where everything was at stake.

A manager that lets players run amok on the pitch is the worst thing that can happen for young players like him.
He plays like a kid because he is one. He’s talented but still has a lot to learn and decision making is one of those things. Not taking unnecessary risks in your own half is another.
