Match Thread: Liverpool (A)

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Me and a couple of mates have managed to get Liverpool away tickets which i was surprised at as away games are nearly always sold out to season ticket holders straight away.

I'd assume it's because it's a Monday night?

Never been to Scouse land before but buzzing for it and predicting a Spurs win !

Re: Liverpool Away

I think I read seomwhere on here that there are no trains back to London after the game so that's probably made it too much of a pain in the arse for a lot of people.

Re: Liverpool Away

Yeah, I have never been to Liverpool away yet and still wan't to. Monday night put me off immediately. I fancy a few beers at football and with no train back fuck driving. Plus couldn't stay the night as the people I go with all have jobs unlike me.

Everton away though is being done with hotel thrown in.

Re: Liverpool Away

Stick with our lot. the ground is in the worst part of an awful city. Keep your wits about you and don't park near the ground.

If anyone asks you the time, make sure the least cockney of the 3 of you answer.

Nearly got knifed. 'orrible place.

Premier League Match Thread: Liverpool v Tottenham

Thought I'd open this just to stop everyone posting in the NextGen thread about Monday's game.

Massive game, lets hope VDV is back for it!

Re: Premier League Match Thread: Liverpool v Tottenham

of more pressing concern is Walker and King's fitness really. Not a dig at vdV but if one of those is out it's a problem but if both are out it's a real problem. Lennon returning would also be a massive boost. One thing Liverpool hate is pace and obviously being able to have it down both sides would be great for us. vdV's fitness isn't as much a problem as those three in my opinion.

Absolutely massive game though and one that'll be harder than City away in my opinion.

Re: Premier League Match Thread: Liverpool v Tottenham

Love that Walker is fit still, just Lennon and Defoe are no's.

VDV to make a late fitness test I bet and pass.

Re: Premier League Match Thread: Liverpool v Tottenham

So maybe:

Friedel, Walker, Kaboul, King, BAE, Parker, Sandro, Modric, Bale, VDV/Niko and Adebayor?

Re: Premier League Match Thread: Liverpool v Tottenham

yeah he can ruin us like he did the last 2 times we faced him.

Re: Premier League Match Thread: Liverpool v Tottenham

I can just see it being all over the papers, first game back and all that.
Plus I really dont like him, and his smarmy little face.

Re: Premier League Match Thread: Liverpool v Tottenham

I'm sure all our fans that will be there will give him a good reception.

Re: Premier League Match Thread: Liverpool v Tottenham

Bellamy will cause King problems if he gets a run on him I think. Parker v Charlie Adam could be an immense battle if they both play.
