Hey,

Quick question - do you buy and/or wear matchday scarves?

I can't - for example our last home match had Spurs & Man U - I would never have anything that says 'Man United' or 'Woolwich' touching my skin - am I being crazy for this?

No, if you mean half and half scarves. I think people who wear them should be put in prison.

But a regular Spurs scarf for the game is an essential bit of kit. As is the spurs hat. Keep the old neck and barnet nice and warm.

I don't, plenty of people do wear them though, including my daughter who goes to games with me.

Anyone wearing a half and half needs to be fucking shot.

I am indeed talking about those half/half abominations - I understand why they exist I just NEVER wear one or even buy one...

When Madders scores on Sunday you can see some person holding up a half and half.
For context I used to own a beautiful white scarf covered in blue cockerels.Back in the day it was definitely rigeur to Nick other fans scarves I never lost mine 💪

I don't like match day half & half scarves, couldn't believe that they sell them in the Club shop. They were all over the place against Wolves ("South Korea Derby").
However I have to confess that I have a small collection.
I bought an England v Malta when I went to the Euro qualifier in 2016 (Dele scored and I didn't know any of the Maltese players!).
I also got a few CL ones that I attended away (Inter Milan, Rel Madrid and Barcelona).

Do you mean the silk ones that we used to tie around our wrists? I had one too, but sadly no longer.
A woolen scarf is essential, together with a bobble hat when it's freezing out, like it was on Sunday, I've just about thawed out!

I saw loads of non foreigners wear these at the Man U game - to my this literally heresey!

Unless you spoke to them all - which I doubt - I don’t think there is any way you can tell if someone is a forrin.

For instance this woman is a Forrin married to an English chap. Hiding in our midst. Would you automatically say she was a forrin if you saw her in a half and half scarf ?
