Battle of the Bridge should be above that Liverpool game imo.
It was the worst officiated football match I’ve ever seen. Twatenberg does his job properly in that first half and book a few players for some cynical fouls and our players don’t lose our heads and we probably win the game.

Bloke was a disgrace. Clearly had an agenda before a ball was kicked. Not necessarily anti spurs but making it all about him![]()

That interview is criminal. No wonder refereeing is so poor in England.![]()

I'd be inclined to agree... Except it was Clattenburg who 'missed' Pedro Mendes' shot going a clear 2 feet over the line at OT...Bloke was a disgrace. Clearly had an agenda before a ball was kicked. Not necessarily anti spurs but making it all about him
I think that was the much discussed, Clattenburg-inspired: 'Battle of the Bridge' ™© Sky SportsPretty sure we broke a record a few matches back for the most yellow cards received by one team in a single game (7 ?).......... Might have actually been in one half.
YepSpurs v Chelsea last season should be on list - but referee bottled it allowing Chelsea free reign without issuing cards to cripple Maddison through a whole series of fouls on his ankles etc (hence out for many games after being subbed)......... and I'm sure Van de Ven's hamstrings went through Chelsea's deliberate stoppages etc.
It was clear Chelsea's objective from minute one was to cripple Spurs..... and through incompetent (Or corrupt - and with Chelsea never rule out payoffs) refereeing they were allowed to get away with it,

I'd call that previous!
Yea, and they all still working in the league without any consequences... Refs also needs be held accountable. Something needs to be done.Bloke was a disgrace. Clearly had an agenda before a ball was kicked. Not necessarily anti spurs but making it all about him
70's FA cup final clash against Chelsea was insane.
That goes for Liverpool too.The Gooners would be in a lot more "dirty" matches if their various cheating methods were actually punished.
