Spurs have just sent out this email:
"The Club is launching a new initiative to recognise Season Ticket Holders, One Hotspur Members and Official Supporters’ Club and Association members we have sadly lost during the past season.
We know that football has the power to bring people together, often in the most difficult times, and the Club is always saddened to hear when one of our supporters has passed away. Whilst we continue to support fan-led tributes, we are regularly contacted with requests to commemorate supporters through a minute’s applause on matchday.
Our Spurs: In Memoriam tribute video will be shown on a home matchday annually and aims to provide some comfort and solace at a difficult time for families. This season’s tribute will be shown at our home game against Crystal Palace, with the fixture currently scheduled for Saturday 10 May (fixture date subject to change).
If you know a Season Ticket Holder, One Hotspur Member or Official Supporters’ Club / Association member who has passed away during the 2024/25 season, family members can request for them to be included in our tribute by completing the Spurs: In Memoriam form. For further information, visit our dedicated FAQs."
I personally think it's a great idea. One of the guys from my church passed away in the New Year and I hope his family do the necessary to include him.
