Now that we are Champions of Europe, when do you believe our next trophy will come?

The focus will be on improving our league standing in the short-term so cup competitions will likely suffer as we simply don't have the required depth for both at the moment.

But surely we won't be waiting another 17 years?

I'm not sure that will turn out to be the case. If a team plays good football it can play well in both competitions. This seems a bit like the false narrative that Spurs won the cup this year by tanking the Premier League. It's true that much will depend on depth, but the other side of that is the style of play will likely not produce as many injuries. Spurs can win trophies in any of the next three years, probably won't go as long as five.

I wanted next season in 1991, 1999 and 2008. In fact, in 1999 and 2008, I wanted this season because we still had other cups to play for - the FA Cup in 1999 and the UEFA Cup in 2008. But, alas, the team had other ideas. We were only a penalty shootout away from another Carling Cup in 2009.

I'm hopeful that we can do something next season. Ange has shown us the way. It's up to us to build on it. I think Thomas Frank has got a trophy or two in him.

I’ll say within the next three years, I think either a domestic trophy most likely the league cup, or, if we find ourselves in the Europa League again within the next few seasons, given the new format, I fancy us to be able to repeat our success.
 
We now have players who know how to get over the line and win a trophy but need a Manager that can do that as well. From what I read Frank is not that man and whilst he will improve our league position, I just cannot see him winning a trophy. I prefer Glastner of Palace who against all odds won the FA Cup. 34 years is far too long since we won that cup. Now replays scrapped it is 6 matches which should not distract too much from the league. PL & CL out of reach with this squad and this is the best target.
 
Could be August 2025, but more likely in 2042.

What certainly Will NOT happen - at least under the current owners - is that we now all of a sudden are gonna win silverware on a regular base.
