There are plenty of football fans around the world, but die-hard football fanatics are a different breed. They live and breathe the sport.

It’s no joke, for some football is a way of life. They keep an ear out for news and latest updates like football predictions and player stats. And probably have a football fantasy team that’s been updated a couple of times throughout their lives.

That said, there’s something awe-inspiring about die-hard fans of the sport. Most (if not all) of them probably have these in their football fan gear—or “arsenal”:

Sports TV Channels Or Streaming Subscription

Not every die-hard football fan lives just a stone’s throw away, or a short drive, from a stadium to watch their favorite teams live. But if you happen to like in Europe, Africa, South America, and Asia then chances are you have zero trouble switching to the sports channel.

Even without a cable subscription or even a TV, serious fans can still support their teams. They can easily opt for streaming services that offer options to watch live games and favorite seasons. Or enjoy a meal, a couple of drinks while watching the game down at the nearest sports bar.

A Social Media Account

Basically, everyone has a social media account—it’s pretty much a given at this point. It’s the literal virtual extension of our lives and mirrors it as such.

Remember about huge football fans basically live and breathe football? That also carries out to their social media accounts. You’ll see heaps of posts about the sport, their favorite teams, and football players. They even follow their team, athletes, and sports updates.

Season Tickets

For die-hard fans, they treat themselves the ultimate Christmas, Birthday, and Valentine’s gift combined: season tickets! Regardless of the distance, whether they’re in the same continent as their favorite team or live in a different country, it’s a special treat.

It’s a financial leap of faith just to show your loyalty to your favorite team. But if their budget permits it, then why not? Who wouldn’t love to be there for their favorite team

Jersey Collection

Who doesn’t want to have a collection that celebrates the epitome of their loyalty to their favorite team?  For football fanatics, it’s already a given. They wear their favorite team’s jersey to every game. Some even have the opportunity to buy the actual shirts worn by their favorite football player.

They keep an ear out for news and latest updates even down to details such as which teams snagged shirt sponsorship with which brands. Sounds excessive? Never! Doing what you love will never be excessive, it just differs for everyone.

Something Lucky

Sports are chock full of superstitions. If it means helping support their favorite team, then football fans would do whatever it takes to increase their chances of winning.

It might be weird but it’s not a one-size-fits-all either. It’s diverse and varies from person to person. It can go from wearing particular underwear, outfit, and sitting on a specific spot when watching the game. To turn their hats inside out, downing a double shot of strong spirits, and waving the flag of their team.
