It has now been twelve years since Tottenham Hotspur last won a trophy, the Carling Cup in 2008, beating local London rivals Chelsea. In recent years they have come close many times, so now is the perfect time to place a bet at an online kaszino that next season they will be having a successful year.

The Manager

With new manager Jose Mourinho at the helm and now playing their football at their wonderful new stadium, it’s about time Spurs started to show their fans the good times they deserve. Jose Mourinho has been successful at all his previous football clubs winning countless trophies so it is just a matter of time before he manages to do the same at Spurs.

Jose Mourinho, also known as “The Special One” has won eight league titles alongside an impressive thirteen domestic cups in England, Portugal, Spain and Italy. He has also won both the Europa League and Champions League twice. He is a born winner and will be hoping to lift even more trophies now he is at the helm of Tottenham.

The Players

With star players including Harry Kane, Dele Alli and Hugo Lloris they already have the foundations of a great team, and, with a few key signings in the summer of 2020 they are sure to be a force to be reckoned with in the upcoming new Premier League season. Already looking towards the new season there are great odds to be had with a casino online for them to be lifting some silverware next year.

Harry Kane

It is important that as well as adding new faces to improve the already top-class squad, that they are able to keep star player Harry Kane. With rumours flying about that other big teams including Manchester United are interested in signing the England international forward, it is key to their future success that he stays at the club. They need to build their team around Harry Kane as he is such an important player for them, not only scoring many goals but also gelling the team together.

New Defenders

After shipping 47 goals in the 2019/2020 season new defenders must be on the top of Jose Mourinho’s list. They certainly need to tighten up at the back if they are to have any chance of winning some titles in the next season.

They were particularly short of depth in the fullback positions last season and have already targeted new players for these positions.

New Striker

A new striker may also be needed for the 2020/2021 season. After Harry Kane struggled with injuries this season, sometimes Spurs struggled for goals. A new backup striker could be really important should Harry Kane be out for any length of time next season.

Goalkeeper

One position that Tottenham do not need to worry about is in goal. With Hugo Lloris, the French international, between the posts, they have one of the best goalkeepers in the league. He is an awesome shot stopper and also commands his area extremely well. He will again be a key player for them next season, and with him in goal they have every chance of lifting a trophy.

Young Talent

Spurs also have some real young talent emerging from both their under 18 and under 23 academies. Both Japhet Tanganga and Oliver Skipp are names to keep your eye on. They will surely be featuring in the first team squad within the next few seasons if not sooner.

The Tottenham Hotspur Stadium

After Spurs finally moved into their new ground from White Hart Lane it took them a little while to settle into their new home. It is important for their future success they make their new stadium a fortress that other teams do not look forward to playing in.

The stadium ,which holds 62,303 fans, is now one of the largest in the Premier League and is a site to behold. Costing roughly £850 million to build it is a stadium that deserves to see trophies won at.

2019/2020 Season

After finishing a respectable 6th in the Premier League this season they will again be featured in the Europa League next year. This could be their biggest chance to win a trophy, as although there will be a lot of other big teams competing, Spurs will definitely be one of the favourites.

With Jose Mourinho already lifting this trophy twice before at previous clubs, there is every chance that he can repeat the feat with Spurs which  all the fans would love.
