Coronavirus affects us all, both you and me
Coronavirus surprised us all and it has affected us in so many ways that we cannot imagine. Our freedom has been limited, we are unable to travel, unable to spend time with friends and family as we usually do. Most importantly, our economy and all the companies whose economies make our society run around have had a shaky year to say it mildly, and a lot of otherwise successful businesses have had to shut down – and this is a fact, no matter if you’re a football club like Tottenham Hotspur Football Club or just a regular organisation. It has been a tough year of 2020, and we are all hoping that 2021 will be the year in which we finally fight off the coronavirus. However, in bad times we always have to focus on the positive things, and this is no exception. That is why we have put together a short list of the positive things that we have experienced during corona.
We have learned to appreciate staying in
One great limit that we have all suffered under has been the limit of our doorstep seeing as in some periods it has been unadvised to go out. This means that we have had to learn to appreciate the time we spent in our homes and the quality times this has provided us with, with our family. We have learned that it can actually be nice to relax for a bit and that a Friday night on the couch might not be as bad afterall, whether you are watching a movie, a football match, reading a good book, or playing casino online.
We have learned to appreciate the art of walking
During the pandemic, all the fitness centres have been closed for longer periods, and this has been a great struggle for those of us who like to work out. The pandemic has forced us to find another way to blow off steam, and for a lot of people this has led to walking more. Walking is super relaxing and it is a great way of emptying your head for thoughts. You can do it alone, if you need a break from everything, or you can do it with friends. It is actually a great way of still keeping in touch with people as it allows you to talk to people while walking outside where you can keep a distance. If walking has still not yet gotten under your skin, a good way of getting started is to start keeping track of the amount of steps you have gone per day. This will speak to the inner competitor in you and that will definitely get you up on those 10.000 steps a day.
