According to Telecomasia.net, Tottenham striker and England captain Harry Kane could leave his hometown club for PSG this summer.

The Parisians will only attempt to acquire the English player if Kylian Mbappe, who is claimed by Real Madrid and other European top clubs including Liverpool, will leave the French side. According to media reports, the 22-year-old striker has refused to renew his contract with PSG and wants to look for another team in the summer.

Rumours that Barcelona intend to bring back Neymar, despite financial difficulties due to the coronavirus, have added fuel to the fire.

PSG will therefore have to look for a replacement for the Frenchman or Brazilian. The French side’s new head coach Mauricio Pochettino, who was coach of Tottenham from 2014 to 2019 and is reportedly personally interested in acquiring Harry and is familiar with Kane’s talents. Furthermore, the 49-year-old Argentinian is still in contact with the striker.

The Englishman has his reasons for changing clubs at the end of the season. He is motivated and wants to win team trophies and fight for European trophies, while at Spurs, Harry can only boast individual achievements.

Tottenham are currently in 8th place in the Premier League standings. This means that the team will not participate in the European competitions next season. PSG are in second place in the French league, two points behind Lille, but still in the Champions League zone.

But the Parisians are not the only ones who would like to get a boost from the English forward. Manchester City are also interested in Kane.

However, Tottenham are not going to sell the player for less than £150 million, so those wishing to buy him will have to lash out. However, PSG, who are in a good financial position and can get a large amount from the sale of one of their star strikers, this amount is unlikely to worry.  For example, Mbappe has a market value of €180 million and Neymar €128 million.

Kane graduated from the Spurs academy. The 27-year-old striker has played in 34 games this season, scoring 22 goals and providing 14 assists. Transfermarkt have estimated the player’s market value at €120 million. His contract with Tottenham runs until the summer of 2024.
