Looks like the grass runoff around the pitch has been significantly reduced as well, saves on water and labor costs. Every penny counts!
This has undoubtedly been posted here before but it is rather apt at the moment. The difference between West Ham and our stadium.
I'm surprised they were able to get the seats so close to the pitch to be honest.That track was enormous.
I think that shows the temporary seats that are on the track - not that those will really be great either as they have to be at such a shallow gradient that you won't be able to see unless you are in the front row.
Can't wait until some cunt chucks too much power through those LEDs accidentally and the whole stadium blacks out

Serious question: how the fuck are they going to 'move' that vital scaffolding of the original stadium that is still standing in the corner?
Are they going to build another 'base' further along then dismantle the end?

The support for the roof. They seem to have removed all the building round it in the picture above but obviously they can't remove the metalwork upright as there will be nothing to support the frame which holds the roof up!
Ok, that's not called scaffolding but support structure - in this case a girder truss
Scaffolding is temporary structure to allow access at height during construction, etc/
I presume they would construct a temporary support for the girder truss which takes the loading down to the ground. This is a steel girder / lattice truss which is easy to add to / disassemble. Plus the loading would be reduced now
